I just finished my 4th time watching this anime, and it's still absolutely incredible. The story shouldn't work. A fighting anime about food. But it does, and your blood will get pumping every single time. The characters are awesome. The humor is spot on, even translated, which is rare. The sexy-bits are sexy. And if I knew how I would fund this to be ongoing. It's absolutely phenomenal.
Story - The plot, while very battlemanga standard, is perfectly executed. The premise being food removes the immersion breaking "this character survived super crazy stuff" that most series have. The premise plays to it's strength to the point

Quick n Dirty Review:
It's a fun series to watch. Is it gonna blow your mind with character development and detailed extensive stories? No. But it's fun as hell, made me laugh quite a bit, and I didn't have to skip through a ton of pointless exposition. Story: By the books, nothing original but nothing bad. Average score. 5/10 Art: Art is fine. Nothing negative to say, and Basara at the end is awesome. 7/10. Sound: Music is fine, voice acting is great. 7/10.
