Did the cover page grab your attention and got you to read this review? Did it compel you to raise an eyebrow or two about the kind of manga it is? But what I thought to be a horny bait turned out to be pretty good.
Story of a loner turning the tables to be friends with the class idol and improving herself? Smuggle me that shit. And its mythological theme makes it all too better, and differentiates it from the usual school setting. It is just much more than a manga with overly big bust size with some plain old boob jokes. It surprisingly focuses
...
less on the boobs in its narration, and is just there for visual fan service. The comedy in this manga stems from the friendship between the class idol and the loner and the events happening around them. While I say that, there are characters and moments which would make you believe that it belongs in a "DIFFERENT" type of manga. Still the overexaggerated expressions of the characters is always funny to watch. While you would think the story would get somewhere left behind, the manga does well to carry the story forward simultaneously.
About the characters, the main girl, Liane is just too good. She doesn't exactly radiate the common behaviour of a loner since she is very quick tempered. Also she got the most amount of development and is the most funny character to boot. Coming onto other characters they have not seen too much of a development but are still decent in their own right.
About the art, its a long time, since I have read a full coloured manga, and due to that, the various details and expressions come out more expressively. Also the art style was looking somewhat previous seen before, and I got to know that I actually read his another manga, just on nhentai.... (And no it is not a hentai, it is just that nhentai version has some additional panels which cannot be considered safe for work)
(This is the name of the manga btw: Jimoto ni Kaettekitara Osananajimi ga Kowareteta; Code: 506408)
Ahm, coming onto the main topic, yeah about the art, it was good, the colourful lighting, the detailed drawings, comedic scenes and the somewhat erotic scenes for fanservice were extremely well drawn.
So all in all a very good read.

After 2 years on hiatus, this manga got unfortunately got axed. It is always sad to witness a manga getting axed, and even so when it ends so abruptly without a proper conclusion to the story.
I am not gonna give the usual review because it would be unfair, as it just did not even complete its proper introduction, but it had potential and was fairly fun for all it was worth. If the manga was continued, I am fairly positive, that I would have been here, writing a review recommending it, but alas.... for now you are well off not reading it.

"Mom, I want Guts from Berserk"
"Honey, we got Guts at home..... in a gender swapped world"
You would have guessed the basic premise from the title alone as this is the storyline of a reincarnation to a knight in a world where women are the law, where everything which was considered male oriented is being done by a women and males are treated as objects to satiate the lust. An isekai, not that the tag brings about any possible change in the story.
You would think what earth-shattering premise is this, but let me tell you this that the author takes this weird prologue into something to
...
look forward to. Hilarious jokes with actually decent plotline with satiable amount of development. While I still think the main story is bit of a secondary focus for the manga, it is still pushing the plot forward in an agreeable way. The only negative I would say are the translations but that in and of itself is not a thing the original work should be condemned for.
Characters may not be that godly, but characters designs? Absolutely top tier. Every female looks like a possible waifu contender in her own way. The reason I said the characters are not godly, because they have not got the kind of development needed to call them a good character. They are still getting carried by their archetypes which is perfectly fine considering I am basing all of this from mere 8 chapters.
The overall quality of the art is very good. The only minor thing to point out is that sometimes certain things (here boobs) magically change their sizes jumping from panel to panel.
All in all, a comedy manga which actually uses its erotica genre in a comedic way.

A forgettable tale featuring the story of the love life of the demon lord and the angel now that they have regained their memories, which could and should have been executed in a way that this manga would become a moment of joy. But far from that, it is rather the drink of disappointment which you would like to avoid.
Now to touch on the premise a little bit, both the female and male leads suddenly remember their past lives where they were the demon king and the angel/god respectively. And now in the current lives they are in relationship with each other. Decent premise, right?
...
Also the demon lord was male in the past life, female in the current one, basically little gender bender action, providing a bit of a leeway for more possibilities in the story.
But apparently the author had other plans. Continued to ignore every other possible prospect which could have made up for at least a readable manga, and chose to focus on the most boring gimmick. Starting from the start, we were revealed about their past lives, thus some rivalry to lovers journey should have been enjoyable. But author chose to ignore that. That "past live memories" was made into second nature a bit too soon, just no realistic reaction to the event at all. A second lead was introduced not too long after that, so maybe a love triangle would not be so bad right? But as the female lead was tied to the male from the start, that possibility was might as well had been zero. Somewhere in the middle, we were told about the gender bender thing, so maybe some jokes regarding it right? No. And countless other possibilities all spurned to result in a manga containing uninteresting events, cheesy one liners and blushing faces all around.
And my god, the amount of characters introduced by the author is abysmal. It looked like he was making chapters just to insert a new character to the already boring roster. And about the characters, they were hella cliché and cringe. Cardboard cutout characters who do not serve any purpose whatsoever. Art was mediocre as well combined with uninteresting panel layout.
Overall, a rushed manga always opting for the wrong direction.

This manga covers the story of a shy and gauche teenager and the people around her as she tries her absolute best to make friends. Not unseen of a premise but a premise which is usually done decently well, and this too, becomes an example of that notion.
A tale which felt satisfactorily calm and replenishing. It was able to maintain its uplifting mood well enough throughout. It adopts a decent stance towards the socially awkward aspect used, with the relationship between various characters having a tinge of realism in it. It had its instances of relatable moments, with any event happening toned down to touch
...
the ground of reality. A pretty modest way of story telling which obviously resulted in the slice of life theme surfacing much more than the others. Romance was pretty lacking and I believe the author wasn't aiming for that approach too. Small moments of yuri bait but I can ignore that.
Art also dons the uplifting aura as it is just plain and simple where you don't have to search for any detail. About the character, apart from the MC and the Café couple, they were average. I didn't get as much invested in the brother's pov as I got into the sister's and the romantic dynamic of the café couple made them stand out a little bit from the others for me.
The only downside I wanted to highlight is that we should have gotten some more chapters to give it a better closure than it currently has. It ended just when it was about picking up its pace. The end came of as sudden and disappointing in some ways. But it didn't take away much when it came to the overall enjoyment of the manga.

I have read two or three anthologies prior to reading this and my experience wasn't the best when it came to liking them. Stories with humdum themes combined with such rushed and not-on-par storytelling and uninteresting characters, I mean they don't seem to provide any reasons which would make me think otherwise. But this one was different. Exploring on some interesting themes and providing a storytelling experience unforeseen in an anthology, at least from which I have read, it has painted a different picture than what I have regarding them.
Each chapter is a manga in and of itself. Every chapter delivers some interesting characters onto
...
the backdrop of the story, which is different each chapter, and you get to feel that you have read a whole manga in that short of a time. Now I am not saying that this is devoid of any flaw, but rather emphasising on the feat which it has achieved, that it manages to tell a complete story in every chapter. There are flaws which may or may not be visible, pacing is not the best, the story may feel like it was not much explored upon, characters may feel a bit superficial and underdeveloped. Art was decent to fine. Not much detailing was taken into factor in the art considering it feels much more monotone when carefully looked upon.
When you give this a good amount of thought, it is certainly not the best manga out there, but there is a teeny "might be" chance that it is the best anthology there is.

This manga has done the best it could have, and has plattered an enjoyable manga in the span of mere 5 chapters. The author was somehow able to coarctate a good story into such a small manga without losing much quality.
The story is the crux of this manga. It is a story of a brother and his older sister facing different problems of their own. The sister has seemingly come back home after a fight with her husband but something seems off. This is the main plot for the majority of the part. The other plot point which is featured is the development of relation
...
between the brother and a girl he has grown interest in. Both the plot points are intertwined which results in some laid-back and calm moments. The overall vibe of the manga for the first half seemed to be slice of life, but the latter half gave birth to more bittersweet moments. The events were predictable to some extent, but it didn't take away much regarding the enjoyment aspect. The characters are fairly decent if not mediocre. I am saying this because they felt sort of generic. Both the brother and sister were yankees, and if you have been active in the manga scene to a certain extent, you would know that yankee characters are not unheard of. The romantic relationship between the brother and the girl was also lacking individuality as it resembled to other romance with a similar schtick. The art for the manga is clean, and looks beautiful to look at.
But even after picking out criticisms which may become an obstacle when it comes to enjoying a manga, this one doesn't seem to care and continues to be entertaining.
I feel like I didn't explain the premise properly, but this was the all I could come up with without referring to any spoilers, so do read it yourself :)

If this is hell, why are we so stuck on going to heaven then?
This manga presents us with a parodical portrayal of hell with equally parodical characters. The story features people living in the so-called "hell" where they suffer "punishments" assigned to them, it's just that the punishments are not what you think they would be.
The manga is a 4-koma and not a 4-koma, both at the same time, which itself is jokingly mentioned in the manga. It features the panel structure of a normal manga, but the story design resembles to that of a 4-koma. And that's how I came to know the importance
...
of panel structuring because I hate that aspect of 4-komas.
The story is very simple, presenting us with people living in hell with a certain gimmick that they hate doing, attached to them. And we enjoy as it cooks things up without harrowing our brains. And it is worth enjoying. It uses the CGDCT kinda comedy with numerous jokes, and it doesn't miss. While the gimmicks attached to the characters may be constant, the event which arise due to them are not, which results in jokes, all of which hit differently. The story focuses on the life of certain characters. And among those, the character which I like the most has to be Juri. She has unironically become one of my favourite characters. The other characters are also good, and their various antics always results in a good chuckle. The art department did good, and as I previously talked about, that the story uses various escapades of cute girls as comedy, the art featured in it, helps it in conveying it a lot more effectively as a medium.
Now talking about the ending, I think it is the only rotten apple in the otherwise great manga. The ending was rushed, and understandably so, cause the manga got axed. Actually, the manga didn't get axed, if speaking technically. It is that the magazine which serialized the manga got discontinued, so the author had to cut corners, and give us an ending.

It could have been a lot more than what it is currently.
A supernatural object which has now entranced a girl with itself. No matter how much she tries to lose it, it somehow finds its way back to her. This theme isn't uncommon. But it is pleasing no matter how many times I see it. Sadly this one shot applies the theme in the most vapid way possible.
Firstly it was far too short for any tension to build up. Scares are far off the point, there was nothing I was feeling, tension, happiness, sadness, excitement, anything. Also the relationship between the gun and the girl
...
were not properly explored.
The artstyle and art is possibly the only thing of this one shot which doesn't deserve any harsh criticism because they are good.
