Bloody†Mary

While the premise is entirely different, there are key similarities that make me think if one likes PH then they'd enjoy Bloody Mary: - both have a characters with memory loss and they slowly recover their memories - both explore the dynamic and unconditional love between two siblings in a very moving way - both have a relationship that starts with a nontypical contract but slowly evolves into something deep and genuine - similar storytelling; the story has been clearly decided from the start and you slowly unravel past events - both have a victorian-like aesthetic, even though Bloody Mary is set in modern day - breathtaking art

In Black Lagoon it's a group of mercenaries, while in Great Pretender it's a group of con artists. -There are interesting backstories for the members of the group. -Black Lagoon is more of a thriller with mature themes but both series show the darker sides of humanity. -There's a very distinct western vibe in both shows. - We get to see the risky heists and missions of the groups.

Kami no Tou
add

There are many similarities between Tower of God and specifically the Hunter Exam arc of HxH: - MC is seemingly innocent, pure-hearted and cheerful - MC meets a few friends while trying to complete the challenges of the tower/ exam and they have to cooperate in order to complete them - the floors in ToG and the exams in HxH require quick-thinking, seeing through traps and fighting others smartly. Only a few among the examiners manage to pass on to the next stage - Gon's quest is to find his dad while Bam's is to find Rachel Bonus: in ToG the idea of the challengers having to go up so many floors, while fighting their way through them is kind of like the Heavens' Arena building in HxH in a broad sense.

Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun
add

- mischievous and funny MC who is a supernatural entity (Yato is a god/ Hanako is a ghost) - girl MC who is 'bound' to the male character in some way - similar type of humor - romantic undertones in the relationship between the boy and the girl, with a slow development - great combination of comedy and dramatic/emotional moments

Hinamatsuri (TV)
add

-Both of them have the same type of hilarious comedy. Each character has special traits and make you laugh because of their personal circumstances. - Both have emotional scenes and feels that hit you when you least expect it - Gintoki is taking care of Kagura and Shinpachi while he's not exactly the typical parental figure so hilarity ensues. In Hinamatsuri, Nitta is bringing up Hina and he is pretty similar to Gintoki in terms of personality.

Devilman
add

Both deal with the issues of friendship, betrayal, tragedy and more importantly, humanity and violence. Miura is a self-proclaimed Go Nagai fan and admits to being influenced by his work. As far as the characters are concerned, there's a passionate and violent main character, Akira/Amon and Guts. These main characters have a tragic backstory. There's a game changer regarding the central friendship of Griffith/Guts and Akira/Ryo. There are obvious homoerotic undertones, mainly concentrated on one character. One can argue that Miura has been influenced specifically by Ryo's character, One Summer Day, and the main plot twist of Devilman in creating the Eclipse. Lastly you can spot mythological and biblical allusions in both works.

Both stories feature a main character who is cursed and his sole purpose is seeking revenge from a demon that stole everything from him. Both demons are figures that betrayed them since they used to be on good terms in the past. We get to see a lengthy flashback to their past in addition to their current adventures. Both are seinen manga heavy on tragedy and action, with a very similar atmosphere. If you like Berserk, you are bound to like SAO. And without spoiling anything, I think that SAO's fantastic's ending would be quite fitting for Berserk as well, if we're lucky enough to see it.

Both shows deal with the issues of friendship, depression, self-isolation and grief. To be more specific, both stories feature a main male character who has a very sorrowful past. Their friends are trying to be helpful and supportive. The female MC is in both cases the love interest. The difference is that Ao Haru Ride is more focused on the romantic aspect while Orange gives more weight to the healing process, and as such it's more dramatic. Both are totally awesome.
