Awesome Anime from the bygone era of the early 2000s anime!
The animation is decent, not the greatest but enjoyable enough.
The soundtrack is pretty good, no memorable soundtracks but it is good enough.
The story is probably the best part of this anime, think of The Witcher but instead of all males, it switches to all females. There is a reason for this in the anime which I won't spoil ;)

Quick review:
If you like fighting scenes and some scenes that try to be political rather than generic side A vs side B. Then this show is for you. MC: very dull. Practically a do-gooder that can do nothing wrong. Nor is the audience given any reason to root for him. In the end, the anime tries to do stuff for him but fails. Cast: Boobs here and there, action scenes, boobs, a rather huge cast with only a few people getting development. Story: gets the job done. Nothing really new in this show. ...

Blue Gender is wild. It has a bit of everything—action, depression, post-nut clarity, suspense, a little bit of mystery, and sex ;).
While the story is simple, it never stops taking a break. The MC goes through an understandable journey from a timid guy to a full-blown chad. The music was decent, it wasn't bad nor great. It fitted the mood whenever necessary. The art is obviously going to be outdated (duh, it's from the 90s). But it never got in the way of my viewing. I loved everything about Katanagatari.
The two things that stood out from me were the sound, art, and characters. This anime reminded me of avatar the last air bender, as while the story was very basic. It was all about the journey. In the same sense, this is how Katanagatari was too. The show puts all its strength into the characters and puts realism into how they developed. NHK was phenomenal. I loved the characters and the music.
The soundtrack was memorable. The OP was a banger. The music in this show always fitted the situation whether it was a negative or positive mood. The characters stood out from one another. Boku dake ga Inai Machi is good. Good mystery show to watch if you are in the mood. However, the story gets predictable by the end but didn't stop me from watching it.

RahXephon is good. At times it gets to the point where I say wtf and other times where I am at the edge of my seat. The Ending was enjoyable as well.
The highlight for me was the characters and sound of this show. The sound was very fitting with the theme for this show. The story is alright, nothing really mindblowing but it is an enjoyable ride.
