This is not a regular gender bender story, is in fact a bold and extraordinary manga. That is the reason why it is a masterpiece, but also why it is so disliked by many.

Inside Mari is a story about a hikkikomori who switch sides with the girl he adores, and so suddenly sees himself on difficult situation having to live on as the girl he worships. Although, it is a simple and overused premise, it goes beyond by exploring this genre from a more psychological approach and by doing it with absolute finesse.

It's a worth looking bizarre masterpiece.

The first manga that appears on Aku no Hana page's recommendation is Onanie Master Kurosawa, and is definitely a highly accurate recommendation, and if you like Aku no Hana the odds are high that you're going to love Onanie Master Kurosawa as well.

Despite its suggestive title, Onanie Master Kurosawa is not a Hentai, is actually a drama about a cynical middle school student that thinks is he is somewhat superior to everyone around him and have a odd ritual of faping on the school girls bathroom. But as he grow up and go through shit he start to see some value on friendship and ...

Aku no Hana (Manga) add
I've given 10 out of 10 to Aku no Hana because it was the most touching experience I've ever read. It was a coming of age story that simply took me back to my school days, it brought feelings that I hadn't feel since that time, so it probably is my favourite manga from now.
My personal feelings aside, Aku no Hana is a masterpiece about adolescence its confusing mess, harmful love and change. The part of dealing with change its perhaps the most touching one it's a feeling that can make a young one grow blue and the way the manga depicted this feeling ...

Aku no Hana (Anime) add
This anime is truly a masterpiece that should be reminded as one of the best of its genre.
What is truly amazing about it is its horrid animation that mixes perfectly with its story and characters, it doesn't sound or look like an anime at all, actually is more like watching a movie, a tremendously disturbing one. The characters and sceneries are realistic and beautiful, the sound of ambience are perfectly mixed with the images adding up to its realism. The result is an animated series that feels like a film.
The show is filled with nonstop psychological horror that will put you on edge ...

Ima, Soko Ni Iru Boku tells a story about Shu, an energetic and cheerful kid with no sense of danger that meets a stranger girl and attempts to befriend her and save her from her kidnappers, leading him to a twisted world where he finds pain and have to endure it in order to help his new found friend. The story is a Castle In The Sky with tragedy so harsh that resembles a soft neorealist narrative and aesthetics.
Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku is beautiful. It has a anti-war message and deliveries it splendid, throughout the show we are startled by the harshness and ...

Shaman King (Manga) add
Shaman King is my most loved memory from my earliest childhood, so I’ve decided to write this review for I finally finished reading the manga, I'm very found of the series but letting the affective memory aside the manga is good, though not worth of my affection as it is. The story is nearly bland, it is about a tournament as its tittle already give away, but there is low to none dynamic at some point; the characters are the strong point of the manga as they normally are meant to be in tournament mangas, but sadly their potential were wasted in Shaman King. The ...

Bremen (Manga) add
Preliminary (79/82 chp)
This manga had potential, but it was all wasted on some horrible plotwist, so horrifying that made me nauseous. The characters and the story are overall good, and could have been a masterpiece if not for the horrible conclusion. As the story proceeds and you get to know the characters better and see they slowly rising as a band the enjoyment is high, but it gets rushed near the ending, probably due to cancellation, but I can't say for sure. In the end was sad to have the fun stopped and vomited at your face, but I would easily recommend it anyway.

This was one hell of a fun manga, never got bored once while reading it. Gash bell is by far the best tournament manga I have ever read. The story is simple, but that's how it ought to be in this genre, because what really matters are the characters, and they are all good and with a lot of personality. The art is authentic, rather odd in the beginning, but it gets better and better. Not sure if it is a 10 out of 10, but is definitely close to. If I were to summarise what Konjiki No Gash Bell is, then it would be: ...
