One-shot mangas ; Straightforward, a compact plot, and of course little development because of its short length.

I would say that the story itself is fine, very stereotypical and we've all definitely seen this type of story progression before. Despite that, it doesn't mean that it is stale or has no passion put into the story. Plot wise, very generic but not deserving of a low rating.

The only thing that gives me the cringe heebie-jeebies is the weird sexualization when (SPOILER) the doctor/teacher went and gave her blood through her menstruation?? Can't she give the blood to him normally through biting instead of having him lick ... you there the next few pages?

Anyways, the guy saving the teacher was somewhat wholesome, but I still need to know how they are gonna hide the corpse of the teacher's now dead boyfriend. Welp, I guess it's up to our imaginations.

TL;DR - It's great if you like interactions between characters and if you don't mind weird topics

I do not know if I have been so brainwashed and desensitized to common sense and morals but deep down I honestly think that this show is not bad at all. But wait, don't call me a degenerate yet.

There is genuine chemistry between our Otaku Pig-man and Jess, the atmosphere while the both of them communicate, is very fresh and relaxing. Of course, the topics that they converse about is very degenerate, but pig-man and Jess genuinely care for each other. They are both lonely, so they support each ... other by spending each other's time together, even if one is a literal animal that would rather be spanked than become a human. Lol.

The nature of the two main characters are very rational, down to earth and calming. Pig-man may be an Otaku, but that doesn't mean he's a creepy freak that just wants to defile every object that has feminine curves. He cares if someone is in danger, he cares if his thoughts and words make someone uncomfortable, he also has decent ethics and his character is written way better than a lot of other isekai protagonists we see each season.

Art:
The art looks beautiful, 8/10

Animation:
It doesn't have to be so extravagant given that the storyline so far is very simple, but it can be better.

Story:
The storyline progresses smoothly, providing our main character a goal to turn back into a human. Nothing is rushed, it's flowing smoothly together with the interactions between the two main characters.
so 7.5/10

Character:
Odd, but works well.

Sound design:
It's decent enough to blend with the background. Great ending theme though.
6.5/10

Voice acting:
Oh man, the voice is great. Pig-man being voiced by Kirito, and Jess being voiced by Makima.
The emotions are conveyed really well through the voices.

So far I've only read 10 chapters of this manga, and currently as of 14th February 2023, there are 14 chapters published.
This is not really a full-fledged review on the manga, but more about my biased opinions on it.

So far, story-wise it is very interesting and it reminds me of Summertime Rendering and Shiki.
If you've read/watched Summer Rendering and Shiki you'll definitely notice some similarities of it in this manga on how there are mysterious and ominous creatures lurking in the town, causing panic,
except for the main character.

You see, our main character, Yoshiki, is the logical type of person who tries to solve things ... like a puzzle but still has his flaws. He still has
emotions, and being involved in such a crazy situation, when push comes to shove he still relies on his feelings.
THAT situation is Hikaru, his childhood best friend, who apparently has romantic feelings for our main character.
I'm not really down for these Boys' Love or LGBT kinda stuff but I can definitely push through them, and to be honest, some aren't that bad. (Banana Fish)

The story progression focuses more on the mystery of the creatures, the monster that "Hikaru" was, as well as the "I love you", "I'll protect you", and "You're not real, but who cares".
I'm a sucker for these type of taboo and unordinary tropes that explore the vastness of "What if something was like this, what would happen?"
It's definitely the feeling of curiosity and wanting to know more, for example mystery, thriller, and Isekai..... well done Isekai.
To me, the ability to pull the viewers in and make them thrilled to learn more is what makes a good story. Also the art is great.

So far, the story is way too short to understand the whole premise as it only started publishing back in 2021. And looking at the pace of
the author and the translation team, we have a long ride. But that's what makes it thrilling, right?

I'm excited to see more of this manga and how the story would turn out.
Overall, I give it an 8. Only if you can handle LGBT themes, as tame as it is.

Now, now, I know you're just looking at my score on this anime and going like,
"What the hell is wrong with this guy?! What a weirdo!"

But first, let me clarify.
You, the other person on the other side of this screen, who's probably watched countless animes and dove deep in the rabbit hole and found this anime,

You forgot that "Anime", is fiction.

That's all there is to it, ANIME is fiction. Will you see an incredibly petite brown-haired girl named Taiga doing roundhouse kicks and knocking people out? No.

ANIME is fiction, therefore it's not real. It will never be real, it's impossible to be real, only ... an entertainment that helps convey feelings to people emotions that they've never felt.

Amazing, so incredibly, ridiculously, and stupidly amazing. I watched knowing that this show was only going to be about fighting clumped with fan service soft-core hentai but, my view on this show changed after finishing it.

There was little to no generic anime tropes like Harem or Overpowered Male Lead or any woman being a little too interested in the male lead for no real reason. This show is basically making fun of other generic animes for being ridiculous, and they made the anime ridiculous in their own way.

This show has a big, big flaw. It is the overwhelmingly vulgar choice of words and visuals was ... the flaw that this show has. But you know what they say? "Sometimes, flaws are what makes something unique and appreciating."

Main character is a total wimp, expected if you were to throw a mundane man living a mundane life into a disaster full of monsters and violence. The way that the male lead approached the situations he's in, with his "normal person" thinking was one of the reasons that made the show unique. He doesn't want to see people he's close to get killed for human desires, and this pacifist nature of him is possibly the reason it's satisfying to see how people react to him.

Oh, there's also the romantic feelings of Hitomi towards Nomoto at the final episodes of the show, and the unexpected changed heart of hers is what made me like her character even more. ( tbh I liked her character right from the start because she fits the character criteria of my likings which is Tomboy, ruthless but totally yandere. Somewhat like Kill la Kill.)

Well things happened after that, but I really don't want to spoil anything. All I can say is that I cried, somehow. It's just that you can feel the regret and sadness in Hitomi's tears after she steps into the car and gets asked if she finished the job... to kill Nomoto. Although we knew she didn't kill him because of what she says right after doing so, "I couldn't do what you said.", her response to Shido's order to kill Nomoto.


Hmm? Overall? This anime is a steaming hot pile of gold covered in shit. The setting of the anime on surface is totally giving people bad views towards this show but if you actually take some of your time and stop by to watch it, you'd think about your view of it twice.

Pretty good.
