Isekai - The idea is used a lot but most of the time I find the anime with an isekai plot device very enjoyable even if the abilities of the main character are completely broken on the downside, a lot of them also have a Harem tag. (Kind of a guilty pleasure but a good portion are mid)

Fantasy - I just find it more enjoyable than your average realistic or modern anime, especially in an MMORPG style (somewhat like most isekai) or medieval world it's interesting to see the types of power systems exhibited in that world like different types of Magic and "Legendary" weapons that could potentially connect with real historical figures and different mythologies or just pure swordsmanship and archery.

Romance - Many of the best stories come from romance anime making you feel sympathetic or happy for the characters presented for example Your Name, Your Lie in April, Angel Beats, Horimiya (peak), or Anohana.

Shounen - Like romance, it has some of the most entertaining scenes and stories built up over time resulting in some of the best anime of all time (Not personal bias just objectively) like One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, and Dragon Ball.

Slice of Life - Possibly one of the most diverse genres and makes for an absolutely outstanding series. You can get absolutely heart-wrenching moments making you bawl your eyes out or little goofy scenes of colorful personalities interacting all within 1 episode.
