Preferred character types: the strong (OP) male lead (no generics pls) who's made in such a way that you can actually like him; the strong female lead or supporting character who's not "moe moe kyun" in the whole duration of the series or always made to fawn over the male lead for absolutely no reason.

Dislikes in anime: the bland male/female protagonist, repetitive isekai plots with little differences or just plots which I find boring (seen too many, know what to look in an anime for it to be interesting for me)

What happened to Naruto-Boruto was disappointing, but people kind of liked it, because it's still there hahahahaha
Yes, that's true, if someone comes to the sequels without knowing the original they may like it too much, but if you know the original it is a very big disappointment
For example, it happens to me with Urusei Yatsura, if I analyze the new version independently it is quite good, good drawing, perfect voice actors and everything, but if I add to that criticism the original series nothing to see leaves much to be desired
Yes, what Yakusoku no Neverland did was terrible, it started excellent with the opportunity to become a cult anime but in the end it disappointed
That's a very good question, I think the ones that managed to disappoint me were Nanatsu no Taizai, which started out excellent but little by little it lost quality in animation and the adaptation was terrible, and another was Tokyo Ghoul what I can say about that, only failures hahaha

It was My Neighbor Totoro, but Pokémon was the first anime series that I watch. It okay. I also didn't know Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh originated from Japan either, and I'm half Japanese.
