My Hero Academia Season 5 Review
Here we are, another season of My Hero Academia.
Story 6/10
Coming from the disappointment of the school festival arc, the first arc of this season was another disappointing one. It sounds interesting, class 1-A finally facing off against class 1-B. But alas it was incredibly boring after 3 episodes of battle training. And this goes on for 9 episodes. Thankfully, it gets better by Endeavor’s agency and gets more interesting. The my villain academia arc was very good, not as good as the manga readers have been saying, but it’s still a really good arc.

Sound 7/10
I wasn’t a fan of the first opening but I loved the second one. Both the endings were fine but not the best compared to other my hero endings. The rest of the soundtrack, once again, does the job but isn’t anything special.
Enjoyment 7/10
While the first arc had bored me to death, I thought that the rest of the season was pretty good, especially the my villain arc. Especially compared to the disappointing 4th season, this season barely managed to redeem itself in the second half.
Overall 6/10
While this wasn’t the best my hero season, it definitely was still a pretty decent one. I had a good enough time watching this season and I hope the next one improves.

To Your Eternity Review
[Spoilers]
This show had the potential to be a masterpiece right from the first episode and obviously it didn’t turn out that way. In no means is it a bad show, just one that didn’t live up to it’s full potential.
Story 8/10
The concept of the story is a 10/10, and the first episode is of perfect execution of this concept. But it didn’t stay that way. The story is in no way bad, but it does lose its way a bit in the middle. In each arc has a purpose to give Fushi different experiences or "stimulation" and pushes Fushi to continue learning

what it means to be human. But of course, the execution wasn't perfect. The time skip in Gugu's arc was a little awkward, but at the very least I could see the intent behind it. But Tonari's arc was the one that had the most bumps. The purpose of this arc was for Fushi to struggle with human death or more specifically, killing humans, and to bring back Hayase. But the characters in this arc were the weakest and this was by far the worst arc. Most of the characters didn't get enough exploration except for Tonari, and that made their deaths way less meaningful. In each of the other arcs, the characters that died had left a big imprint on him. But because the ones that died were kinda just side characters, their deaths shouldn't have impacted him on a deep personal level. But yet, when Fushi is reflecting in the last episode, their deaths are talked about as if they were as meaningful as Gugu's death, which just isn't the case.
Animation 8/10
The animation is nothing bad and does the job, but just very average. It’s nothing more than that. I would’ve hoped to see some better visuals or something but sadly nothing. It doesn’t harm the story whatsoever but it would’ve improved it to have some beautiful visuals to go along with a beautiful story.
Sound 9/10
I love the opening and ending. They both fit perfectly with the show and are also unique. The rest of the soundtrack doesn’t stand out very much though.
Character 8/10
The characters are the best part of this show. No matter how many episodes each arc is, you always end up getting so attached to the characters, only to have your heart crushed after each one. Well at least for the most part. The other group members in Tonari's arc didn't receive enough exploration and therefor their characters seemed underdeveloped which made their deaths have little impact. The only character that got enough exploration was Tonari, and half of the time she was a very unlikable character. But Fushi’s character is exceptional. Each experience and “stimulation” he receives changes him and helps him grow in such a purposeful way, even with some for the bumps in the storytelling.
Enjoyment 9/10
I immensely enjoyed watching this anime, even with its few faults with the plot and characters. It never failed me to immerse me into every episode and feel for the characters.
Overall 9/10
As much as I wish this could be a 10/10, the average animation and the faults in the storytelling and characters prevent it from being a masterpiece. It is not a bad show by any means and I will absolutely be recommending this to everyone. But it just did not live up to the hopes I had for it.

My Ijranaide Nagatoro-San Review :)
Story 9/10
Most people dropped the series to quickly because of the bullying in the first few episodes and calling it problematic. Throughout the entire series you can see how these characters grow and develop into something that is clearly more than a girl picking on her upperclassman.
Art 10/10
I LOVE this art style, I think it looks so clean and colourful; It definitely stands out. The art for the opening is also incredible and interesting to watch.

Sound 8/10
The opening and endings are really catchy and memorable. The rest of the soundtrack is also very fitting for the scenes they are intended for but nothing incredible.
Character 9/10
As stated before, most people dropped the anime too early because Nagatoro was a bully and problematic, and I will say the first few episodes may have been a little too over the top. But even after the first few episodes we can already see Nagatoro and Naoto’s dynamic change. Naoto starts to grow more confidence and is able to fire back at Nagatoro’s teasing. Nagatoro’s attitude around Naoto begins to change and is less bold with her comments, though she still likes to tease him it is in a more playful manner. I don’t have much to say about Nagatoro’s friends other than they are fun characters to watch.
Enjoyment 10/10
I really enjoyed watching this and I would definitely recommend this to someone else. It’s a great and fun show and I wish more people would have given it more of a chance instead of dropping it after the first few episodes.

I will say it right now, JJK is not a 10. Could it be? Maybe but I don't think so. That being said as someone who doesn't watch much shounen, JJK is very enjoyable once you give it a chance.
Story 5/10
Until episode 18, it was very hard for me to get into the plot and actually enjoy it. It didn't start off bad, but it was just never enough to keep me excited throughout the episode or make me want to watch the next one. would explain more, but I want to give as little spoilers as possible. Personally I think it would have been better to at least ease into the Jujutsu sorcerers world a little better.
Art 9/10
The animation, as a big demon slayer fan, is on par with demon slayer. The fight scenes are smooth and exciting and really pulls you in. I love darker animation style and gore which I haven't really seen much in other shounen.
Sound 9/10
Both the endings and openings are very good. The music fits in so well with the animations and are very entertaining to watch no matter how many times you've seen them. Easily my top favourite OP's and ED's.
Characters 6/10
This is the one area I am a little unsure about. While the characters can seem deep or complex, I'm unsure how deep it can really go. I like most of the side characters. I think they are nicely thought out, but don't take too much away from the main 3. But I do have some issues with the 3 main characters.
Yuuji:
The only real motivation/backstory we see from Yuuji, is his grandfather (which had very little screen time or significance besides starting off the story) and his two friends that we see in episode one and are never mentioned again. Yuuji does have the contrast of his heroic joyful personality with Sukuna, but that can only take his character so far. He is lucky enough that he was born with super human strength, and with little training can battle tough enemies with out (technically) dying. He is overpowered in my opinion but at least he differs in the sense that he knows when he is weak and isn't naive enough to think that he can beat anyone just off of will power.
Megumi and Nobara:
I actually really like Megumi as a character. Even though, like Yuuji, we don't see or know much about his backstory or motivations. That being said, since we know so little there is much potential for his character. He is not overly powerful and knows his weak points and that he has much room to grow. Now Nobara is 50/50 for me as a character. I do like that she is not overly powerful but she also isn't just a side girl character that can't pull her weight. But, I think her character can be over the top. She easily gets mad at any of the characters for weird reasons and seems very harsh which makes her an unlikable character to watch. That being said, I can't wait to see her grow and develop as a character.
Enjoyment 8/10
Even though it took a while for me to actually be enjoying the show, I'm rating it a 8/10 because once I did, I was hooked. Even with its flaws I still think it's a good anime and I can't wait to see more.
Overall 8/10
My ratings might change, but overall JJK is a great anime that slightly differs from other shounen. Is it a 10/10? No. But I am enjoying it so far and would definitely recommend it!
