Vampire Knight: Guilty is gayer, edgier and more annoying than the first season. All of the failures of the first season are just as bad and sometimes worse. There is not even a cool opening song. There is nothing good or redeeming about this mess of a show. It made me hate vampire stories more than I did before. After watching this evil and satanic show I had to pray to feel better. I felt as though everything in this show was the author's fetishes projected onto her self insert character and her ideal romantic interests. Vampire Knight is the worst kind of vampire story. It's extremely homoerotic, fetishistic and emo. The drama is the sort of stuff that a wristcutting 15 year old girl would write on her blog in 2002. It's almost on the level of the My Immortal fanfiction. It abuses vampire tropes like two vampires lusting over a human girl, a vampire who doesn't want to be a vampire and so, erotically, abuses himself to cope. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 2000 is a prequel to the 1993 adaptation which covered fan favourite fights from the second half of the series. This adaptation covers favourites from the first half. The most notable difference in this version is the character designs. They look weird and ugly and make this a big downgrade from the first adaptation. The animation is not as good here as it was in the first one, but there are some cool sections. They chose to animate the fan favourite fights from the first half of the story, but some of these are not as memorable as in the second half.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is an adaptation of Stardust Crusaders which, instead of adapting the whole story, chooses some of the most memorable fights to animate. The art style is a good adaptation of Araki's style and the animation is very good a lot of the time. The VHS rips of this show look dated, but that is the fault of the VHS not of this adaptation. Stardust Crusaders is the second best part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and has some of the most fun fights. The final episode where Jotaro fights DIO is a must watch for any Jojo fans and is far better than

Hellsing has some strong points, but falls apart horribly in the second half. The first six episodes are interesting and put some thought into how being a vampire will affect the main character. The tone is appropriately dark. Father Anderson is my favourite character and his fight is one of the best ones. The music is an American hip hop style and is bizarrely an excellent fit. The art and animation quality are very low. Hellsing was made in the early 2000s when studios hadn't figured out how to do digital animation well. The second half of this show is terrible apart from the music.

Hellsing Ultimate is a schlock vampire series. I don't like many vampire stories unless they're classic vampire literature. Hellsing Ultimate's use of vampires, werewolves and other gothic horror creatures is disappointing because it throws away the nuances of these creatures that was developed in the original literature in favour of Hollywood tropes and stupid action. I enjoy good action, but the fights in this series are almost all boring because they involve a queer monster that comes out of nowhere and dies quickly. The Cat Returns is a mediocre and forgettable expansion of the fictional world created in Whisper of the Heart. The story told here feels similar to Alice in Wonderland without all the iconic distractions along the way, or Labyrinth but without David Bowie. Modest Heroes consists of three shorts aimed at children. The first short is about two brothers braving the dangers of the river to save their father from a fish.
