'Kimi ni Todoke' Season 3 Announces Production Staff, Additional Cast

The official website of the third anime season adapting Karuho Shiina's Kimi ni Todoke (Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You) manga revealed the production staff and more returning cast members on Saturday. The original net anime by Production I.G is scheduled to stream worldwide exclusively on Netflix in 2024.

Voice actors Miyuki Sawashiro, Yuuko Sanpei, Yuuichi Nakamura, Mamoru Miyano, Yuuki Ono, and Aya Hirano are reprising their roles from the previous seasons.

The shoujo romance manga by Shiina ran in Bessatsu Margaret magazine from August 2005 to November 2017. Shueisha published the 30th and final volume in March 2018. Shiina launched the Kimi ni Todoke Bangai-hen: Unmei no Hito sequel in the same magazine in April 2018 and ended it in May 2022. Shueisha released the third and final volume last July.

VIZ Media licensed the original manga in English in 2009 and published the 30th and final volume in December 2018. The company also licensed the sequel manga and plans to begin publishing it in Spring 2024.

Surprised they returned Aya Hirano in the cast, she rarelly does seiyuu work nowerdays. Not a fan of this series (I would rather see S2 of Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii from shoujo titles) but good for actual fans.

@Oongbuh It's called being realistic.

Giving a classic shoujo to a nobody is a terrible move. Put some respect on Kimi ni Todoke's name.

This is not your average battle shounen or isekai. Some people have been waiting over a decade for this.

From Me To You season 3 is schedule for 2014. Hopefully with that announcement, they will release season 1 & 2 English Dub before the third season released.

@AnimeIs4Kidz Talk about being overly pessimistic for no reason. While this is Matsuzawa's debut as Series Director, he has plenty of experience and immediately jumping to say it will "suck" is being premature.

oh yes, time for the girl kazuya to start her amazing simping but because she's a girl it's cute. Incredible how this mediocrity ran for 30 volumes without anything happening.

For me, Kimi ni Todoke is one of the best slice of life anime I have ever seen so I am really excited for season 3
