Series which were officially licensed by an English publisher, but were ultimately left incomplete (or not even released). This isn't a very comprehensive list (and older licenses are probably underrepresented), but I aimed to have a variety of examples across different publishers.

so i thought ill make a list that filters most of the stuff out like i did for horror
Only 1 Series per franchise

Goes in order of every Nisio series released and the order in which they came out. There will be mention if translations are available in English. Some novels/series aren't on MAL, like his one off novels, the Flaneur series or the Densetsu series, so this isn't a complete list, only what's listed on MAl.

Kinda of an old video I know, but it is a list of titles that deserve to be remembered(just like the title states!).

I asked ChatGPT for the top 50 best light novels, here is what I got (couldnt write "top 50 light novel" in title as it wouldnt let me post it public)

Also includes titles where the licencing wasn't cancelled oficially but no new volume has been released in English for years despite existing in the original language, and cases when the publisher went defunct before completing the series. Novels/manhwa/manhua etc. count too.


Let me know if there is some update to any of the titles listed or if some needs to be added.
