Very similar art, both protagonists are misunderstood because of their devilesh looks and romurs about how tough and heartless they are brings them trouble, so they are both trouble magnets even if they dont want it.

Both manga involve a main character who is often mistaken to be a delinquent due to their scary faces, and does his best to avoid fighting. In Angel Densetsu, the main character often ends up winning the fights through scaring his opponents (on accident of course), in Ochanigosu he often runs away or his friend ends up beating his opponents for him. In both cases, this is often because the protagonist doesn't want the girl he likes to hate him for fighting. 

While both manga have a similar premise, they are also both comedies with bits of romance in them. Angel Densetsu plays off its protagonist being too scary for his opponents to even try to fight for a majority of its run, whereas Ochanigosu is less humorous in its actual fight scenes and tries instead to find more humor in its other aspects, such as the protagonist's club members being afraid of him. The romances in both manga also play a role, with Ochanigosu having its protagonist trying to better himself because of the girl he likes and with Angel Densetsu having its female lead be someone who doesn't misunderstand the protagonist. 

Angel Densetsu involves a lot more fighting from what I've experienced, though most of it is through the protagonist's enemies offing themselves through getting too scared or some other weird misunderstanding. Ochanigosu's fighting tends to take a backseat, and it's more about a delinquent funnily trying to mend his ways rather than fighting (though there are a few scenes like that). 

Still, due to the very similar premises and humor, I would recommend you read one if you enjoyed the other for sure.

Both manga revolve around a scary looking Mc with incredible physical powers who constaintly gets into fights because of his appearance. Both manga contain a lot of comedy and great fights.

The protagonist is judged by their looks, but in Angel Densetsu the protagonist is a pure and nice boy while in Storm Bringer the boy just wants to live a peaceful life. Both are very good!

Both feature a protagonist that everyone assumes is a scary thug because of their appearance. As a result, they end up in fights as a result of misunderstandings surrounding their looks. The main difference being Ju Ingong in Transfer Student Storm Bringer is aware that people are afraid of him and uses his opponent's fears and assumptions of him against them; meanwhile, Seiichirou Kuroda in Angel Densetsu seems mostly oblivious to people's opinions of him and is unaware that his actions lead to starting a fight with another character or gang.

Pretty much the same concept - a transfer student gets mistaken for a deliquent thanks to his mean face, and despite not wanting so accidentalies himself into the deliquent community.

In both manga, the protagonist has a scary look and is instantly feared by the normal students and challenged by the gangs when he transfers into a new school. 

Nonetheless, there are differences in terms of the characteristics of the protagonist. In Angel Densetsu, as the name of the manga implied, the protagonist is a boy with the heart of an angel, who is pure and innocent and overwhelmingly kind. On the other hand, in Transfer Student Storm Bringer, the protag is rather calculative and knowingly using his scary face as a weapon sometimes.

Kyou kara Ore wa!! addpermalink

Both series are about delinquents' school life: there's great fights, girl problems and a lots of crazy humor. I can't stop laughing when I read these two masterpieces. Even fights are full of comedy and laughable misunderstandings. If you want something realistic about guys gang activities, I recommend the Worst or Holyland. If you want to die laughing, try these two.

Like Crows, Angel Densetsu is filled with hilarious, wacky scenes that will make your lungs hurt. The plot of this comic is easy to follow, but well developed. It will keep you interested for the whole reading process.

Prison School addpermalink

Both are comedies where a simple situation is taken and blown up to much larger than necessary proportions because of misunderstandings and huge jumps in logic. I found both very funny because of that, but they both also share the fact that there are actually quite a interpersonal side links of character relationships which are subtly developed and make a difference over time.

For example, both have series where side characters kind of team up or end up working against the main protagonist at times. Both series also share the fact that enemies team up.

The main difference is probably that Angel Densetsu has a much more universal theme ("dont judge a book by its cover") and older artwork while Prison School is a LOT of ecchi-ness and sexual situations. Oh, and PS has more detailed art and a slower chapter pace. I found both very enjoyable, but there will probably be some audiences put off more by PS's lewdness. read more

You can’t prejudice people, no matter what they look like. 

Both tells about the carefree school life of delinquents, and there’s lots of school fights, humor, funny misunderstandings, strong female characters and some yakuzas. 
In Angel Densetsu, Seiichirou Kitano only appears to be cruel school delinquent, but in reality he has a good heart. Story repeats itself in Gokusen, where math teacher Kumiko Yamaguchi beliefs in her ”cute little students”, although everyone else thinks they are hopeless. Luckily Yamaguchi has a secret weapon: she's from yakuza family.

Angel Densetsu’s problem is drawing style, which gets better later on. But Angel Densetsu is definitely funnier!  Angel Densetsu is quite absurd, but if you liked Kumiko’s yakuza/teacher personalities, you will laugh at Kitano’s problem, since everyone is afraid of him no matter what.

Don't get me wrong. These mangas are not similar. The only thing that connects them is a martial arts theme. However, after reading "Holyland" you might want to read something a bit lighter and funny. Just try it :). There is also something amusing about that choice of mangas. I mean, "Holyland"'s main character looks like a wimp but he's not and Seiichirou Kitano (who looks like a demon) is a naive and kind boy :).

Both of these school life comedy manga revolve around a high schooler protagonist who are being misunderstood one think everyone hates him the other people mistake him a gang boss but they are both not what people think they really are. Both manga are funny and if you enjoy one you'll enjoy they other.

First of all these manga bear the same idea of esse quam videri. To put it in a nutshell, until the very end of both manga almost all characters are trying to find out an identity of main heroes. All jokes are solely based on this concept of contrast between appearance and a true nature of our heroes. In Angel Densetsu we have a fearsome main hero with a heart of an angel, in Cheeky Angel we have a sweet main heroine which can beat you up to a pulp. Aside from this similarity, both manga are packed with fights and scrambles.

Ore Monogatari!! addpermalink

Angel Densetsu is a shounen while Ore Monogatari is a shoujo so their focuses are a bit different: one focusing more on juvenile delinquent comedies, while the latter focuses more on romance. But both series are about an intimidating looking, but kind-hearted young man wins over friends (and a girlfriend!) while primarily employing misunderstandings to keep the conflict and comedy going.

Mx0 is one of my all time favorites. It was difficult finding something with similar themes.
I found Angel Densetsu to draw many similarities to mx0.

First of all, both protagonists are teenage male characters that are often recognized by their fellow students as "a monster" or a very powerful entity

Second of all, both manga cover elements of action, romance, and outstanding comedy

third of all, both characters are heavily misunderstood, or indirectly deceiving others using their wits or instinct

fourth of all, both characters are famous in their respective schools and seen as "out of the ordinary"

Machida-kun no Sekai addpermalink

In stories where the main protagonists are examples of "Don't judge a book by its cover", Angel Densetsu is different than Machida-kun no Sekai in the degree to which the protagonist's looks betray their inner personalities - Angel Densetsu's Seiichirou is much more different than his personality.
The characters are surrounded by people who are blessed by their existence, even when they themselves don't actually know how others see them through all their life.
And both of them do experience romance with people who look beyond their, or other people's, perceptions.

Very much surprised these two don't have a reccomendation yet.

First up, the main characters. Mash and Kitano-kun. Mash and Kitano and generally presented in similar ways, very clumsy and misunderstood, awkward teenage boys who somehow always find themselves in trouble. 

There are differences, such as Mash having no problem with pounding someone's face meanwhile Kitano absolutely hating violence, but the similarities are there.

Next up the side cast, also rather similar. Guys who start of absolutely HATING mc but pretty soon realize that they are good friends actually.

One thing that I like more about Angel Densetsu is the female cast, as the female characters in Mashle are honestly just plain awful and/or annoying. Sadge.

Lastly the story...They are not alike at all, but they do have a very very similar tone. 

Both starting off as a pure comedy with maybe hints of seriousness but overall putting comedy first, later on though it starts focusing more on the fights and occasional drama. read more

Oh wait, noone have spotted the similarities between these two? Sakamoto desu ga? is like a Y2K version of Angel Densetsu, with slicker art, faster punchlines, but sadly a more chopped up/episodical storyline. Both are school life mangas with MCs who's misunderstanding their peers and end up in comical situations because of this. If you loved Angel Densetsu I'm sure you can read Sakamoto just to quench the thirst.

Debusen is the bad taste parody of Angel Densetsu. Shounen tropes like being unaware of your incredible fighting skills, horrible delinquents, school hierarchies, class trips and bullying, which is the core of Angel Densetsu, are all being taken to the extreme and ridiculous in Debusen.

Both mangas deal about the deliquent theme and generate some of their comedy from how the MCs falsely appear to others and instill terror in their class mates, though the 2 girls are aware of it and find it funny. :) While AD focuses more on Kitano finding friends, NC centers on the lovey dovey relationship of the yuri pair.

In both manga most of the people view the MC as an evil guy purely made up from their uncommon facial structure. This leads to funny scenes and thoughts.

*Both MCs have a lot of plot armor, not in a bad way since it aids the comedy part and makes the story progress.
<>The comedy in Angel Densetsu is more broad than in Ride-On King, but that's also to be expected since Angel Densetsu is pure comedy, in contrast Ride-On King is parody, comedy and adventure.

A lot of differences, but at least the MC has the unrivalled ability to dodge any attack. They both have scary faces shown by the author in a way that makes them even scarier.

These delinquent manga are really funny, and far less serious than most other manga in the same vein. The fights in both are still awesome and get you hyped, but both of these series prefer to have a healthy dose of comedy as well as action.

Both main characters are socially awkward and also scare people because of how they look.
Both series is the same in the "don't judge a book by it's cover" way. Both shows focus alot on comedy, friendship, romance and school.
But "Angel Densetsu" is more about martial arts. 
And "Komi-san" is just a bit more lewd in it's jokes.

They both feature a guy who has an insanely scary face, because of this they are both commonly misunderstood and found in all sorts of comedic events, While Angel Densetsu is more of a shounen and focuses more on delinquency and comedy Kimi ni Koi Shite Ii Desu Ka. Focuses more on the romance however both series have an uncanny resemblance both in tone (both use the "scary face" as a source of comedy) and in plot.

Both are by the same mangaka, and they have a similar theme of discrimination against kind and good people, and the acceptance of the outcast / outcasts by certain people.

The setting is vastly different. Even if both have action, Angel Densetsu has a focus on delinquents, school, romance, comedy and slice-of-life, while Claymore focuses on adventure, action, supernatural and tragedy.

If you loved the humour and development in Angel densetsu, as well as the nice mix of characters then you will love this too, and vice versa. It's part luck, part action, and whole lot of fun to read. 

P.S.: The ending felt a bit too soon, but it was a very enjoyable read for me .

It is about high school life and the teachers that judge the persons by appearances. Not totally the same but the comedic value is totally the same. And, GTO is more than perverted than Angel Densetsu. The main character also have same personality, they can sacrifice for the one they eager to protect and no hypocrite personality.

Both stories are about a main character who was born with terrifying facial features, and gets treated badly by the world as a result. Deep inside, the main character is a sensitive soul who only wants to make some friends and find a "place to belong".

1990's old manga dealing with delinquents, allot of fighting and comedy.
Both have very unique male leads who slowly change the initial opinions of the people around them from negative to positive. even turn enemies to believers,  earn respect and become somewhat heroes some of the people around them while also unintentionally forming a posse (gang,clan, group of friends or w/e you wanna call it )..
 Stunning female leads who imo look alike, the art is also similar, there is some romance here and there, easily the best part of this mangas is the colorful and hilarious cast, main and supporting characters.
Both highly recommended if you want a good laugh and something different from the usual, both are silly and juvenile but I love that about them. read more

They share an identical premise: that of scary, demon looking guys actually being really kid on the inside. However, the treatment and focus varies. In Angel Densetsu, this issue is made into a long running gag wherein we are treated to a bit of action as a result of this misunderstanding that just keeps getting worse. In Junjou Drop, nearly everyone who interacts (nicely) with the male protagonist realizes that he's a sweetheart rather quickly and the focus is on love and friendship.

Both stories are about a transfer student who appears to be vicious and is feared by the whole school when they first arrive.  Also, even though the main characters in each story appear to be a tough fighter (through no effort of their own), they are actually just kind albeit socially awkward students.

There are many parallels between the two mangas. From the characters to the style of humor and the overall vibe. Angel Densetsu is much more down to earth, though. If you've enjoyed MP100 (particularly the comedic moments), give Angel Densetsu a try.
