These are works that quite stood out to me in how dynamics between friends were portrayed. Some of these are quite obvious, as they're within the cute-girls space, but others are more out there in less mundane contexts.  Manga where the stupid banter between characters is a selling point.  From one end to another. From iyashikei, cgdct, simplistic, mundane, to the adventure, change, romance, "essence of living", conflict, to the liminal, infinite, loss, destination, desperation, the end.   My favorite ones are the "Eddy-likes" (from "Ed, Edd & Eddy") AKA the ones that keeps pushing their luck and takes the punches because they can. |
