Crafted from same author, Oresama Teacher and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun share some special similarities with its setting and characters. Both series' main male protagonists are considered tough on the outside but soft on the inside when it comes to association with those they care about. At the same time, we have a main female character who gets herself into odd circumstances with others. With a colorful cast of characters, there's plenty of drama and comedy that spawn from both series. While Oresama Teacher has a story, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun relies on its gags and gimmicks to produce worthwhile comedy. I recommend both series especially for  read more

Both adachi and Mafuyo ! Want to change and live a normal school life !* both of them were used to be a yankee !* if u Love Yankee-kun to Megane-Chan u will Love this manga too (Y)

If you love Kyoko you'll probably love Mafayu. Both girls scare those around them without realizing it, dream of shoujo-manga type romance, and start the manga by trying to restart their lives with a clean slate.
reportRecommended by jacobpaige
Both female leads are cute petite little girls with amazing physical strength and a certain degree of naivety that adds to their character instead of detracting from it. Both also tend to hang around guys who have slightly sour personalities (although their hearts are good!)
reportRecommended by Breezie-D
In both manga, the main characters are trying to make the school a better place. In Oresama Teacher they are trying to control the delinquents so more kids will go to the school and in Pika Ichi the main characters are trying to rid the school of bullying. Both main females don't cry easily and both have fights.
reportRecommended by Aprella-chan
Both female leads are the banchous (gang leaders) in their schools, but really just want to be normal girls. And both mangas are packed with comedy that will make you want to laugh.

Very much similar relationships. Both male main characters are much alike.
reportRecommended by CyanAura
Both main characters are known for her tough fighting skills in their hometown and decide to go to another school to make a fresh start as a good student. However, situations lead them to revert to her deliquent side.

I love both series. They're both so funny, but can give you feels in a heartbeat. Most of, if not all, the characters are really lovable in both.

These mangas share ridiculous comedy, student/teacher relations, fighting and a school full of delinquents... what's not to love?
reportRecommended by restivesilence
Light on romance and drama, heavy on slapstick and gag comedy. Lots of cross-dressing and general flippancy to gender roles. Both leads more or less have a reverse harem of hot guys. Themes of loneliness and finding friends who accept you. Everyone is a complete and utter dork

i find the humor incorporated in both of them is similar (weird and funny faces...) XD

Basically if you like one you'll definitely like the other. Both have: - A similar sense of humor that makes you laugh on every other page - The main characters are both strong delinquents with a good heart that starts school in a new area. - The art is also very good. The difference is: - Yamada-kun has a more understandable plot than Oresama. - Yamada-kun has more romance in it - Yamada-kun has a sort of supernatural setting

Although I think the plot lines of TCP and Oresama Teacher are not all that similar, what reminds me of the other respective series when I read either of them is their amazing senses of humor. Both are quite hilarious and in somewhat the same ways. In addition, I suppose they both have the yakuza/yankee/fighting thing in common as well, too, so if you liked either series, you should give the other a try!

Both have an interesting storyline with a female protagonist who's passionate and humorous, and an older male love interest. Both mangas have great comedy and a not-so-typical relationship between the protagonist and the older male. Also, the art styles are very similar.
reportRecommended by anobletiger
Both manga are about a girl delinquent. In Oresama Teacher the female protagonist is trying to hide her delinquent past while in Yandere Kanojo Reina is trying to hide her relationship with Tanaka. Don't be fooled by the shoujo genre of oresama teacher, it seems much more shounen. There's a bunch fighting, and it's hilarious.
reportRecommended by nyan23
Beelzebub is fighting manga, with the main character a very strong gang, rebel type person. Very funny and hilarious, just like Oresama Teacher.

If you love the laugh out loud humor of Oresama Teacher, then try Seigi no Mikata! - I also found this comedy about a hero to be hillarious. In each of these shoujo comedies, the mc dresses as someone else ( a masked transformation) for missions - they both play on the whole Sailor Moon ally of justice thing. Sometimes it reminded me of the Power Rangers, lol. The mcs are both former delinquents and fighters who are tasked by a leader to help them with missions. Differences would be that  read more

The stories have similar humor
reportRecommended by valia12341
MC have similar personalities and are strong/gang involvement because of the childhood next door neighbours whom they are in love with. The tone of the manga and silly side stories really give these manga the same feel too. The big differences being A. Oresama teacher is much longer and more complete and B. The MC is a boyish girl rather than a guy who is unsuccessfully trying to make her debut as a feminine beauty so it's like reversed.

Both are really hilarious mangas with a very similar badass yankee-like heroine who gets involved in the school matters and battles against the student council.

Pick your delinquent! The attempt to live a normal high school life is riddled with crazy characters, secret identities, wacko situations and lots of ass-kicking. Both shoujo and shounen versions available.
reportRecommended by Trivialmadness
Both are reverse harems with a badass fighting girl in the middle of them. Both involve the main character disguising herself at certain points in time. Comedies that include fighting and plot points of being the banchou of the school
reportRecommended by swagboi99
Both manga contain fun aspects of school life and a teacher, who others might question, how they became a teacher. Both ‘teachers’ are extremely fun loving and youthful. One is a genius in physics another at fighting. Another common point is the student teacher relationships.
reportRecommended by ruru9999
Although Oresama Teacher is way wackier and less down to earth than Skip and Loafer, I think if you enjoy the comedic moments of one series, you'll enjoy the antics of the other. Especially when it comes to the main characters. The main characters have similar energetic girl energies, even if one is a straight A student that would be mortified by the other's delinquent past. Both are starting out at a new high school that is far away from their old junior high but have occasional returns to their hometowns.
reportRecommended by SmoothGardener
This manga is similar to Oresama Teacher because both female protagonists come from tomboyish backgrounds and now in a new school, they want to change their ways. However, they have a hard time with it. Of course, that's what makes their funny moments!
reportRecommended by StellarHikari
Takaomi and Mr. Kwon are teachers who used to be a gangster. But despite that, they are actually very passionate with their job as teachers and truly care for their students.
reportRecommended by Nunnally03
both have very strong willed female main lead character. they where both forced to learn how to fight to save themselves. while love in the mask is more seroius oresama teacher is more comedy.
reportRecommended by animegirl16091
Both manga are about tomboy's that try to become more feminine and experience romantic love upon entering a new high school.
reportRecommended by Lazhward
You will soon notice how similar the female lead is. Both have many similarities and the same atmosphere, although the plot is not similar at all! Both Tachibana and Kurosaki are girls but they dress like boys, and are super strong.
reportRecommended by Argielewd
Both series are comedy manga with ex-delinquent teachers as main characters. In addition to the majority funny moments, the manga also have serious storylines.
reportRecommended by amatou
Both MCs are ex-gang members trying to live a normal life (Tatsu formerly part of the mafia and Mafuyu formerly part of a high school gang). Oresama Teacher is also a comedy, but it has more shoujo undertones.
reportRecommended by shilbia
In "Oresama Teacher", the girl is cute and strong but at the same time a bit afraid of the boy; she admires him though. On the other hand, "Oyayubi kara Romance", the girl is cute and simple, aside from her brain reaching fast conclusions to any situation.
reportRecommended by Miya_
both involve really strong, but dense, and cute girls. the main male is stronger than the girl thought, and in both stories the main leads are childhood friends. if you like oresama teacher, read special a, and vice versa
reportRecommended by TeARsFade
The main characters are both similar. They both have a violent streak in them and want to become more girly girl. The comedy in these mangas are similar aswell.
reportRecommended by bob_was_here69
In both series the girls try their best to make friends with the people around them. In their pasts they have had trouble with this but everything changes when the "popular guy" starts talking with them.
reportRecommended by CuteAnimeJunkie
Both are about delinquents and have random funny situations.
reportRecommended by Orulyon
Both the comedy in the mangas are somewhat the same so it always makes me laugh, but HGS is more romantic. The art they do is similar as well. I recommend you check out either of these mangas, if you like one of them you're sure to like the other. I'll give you a warning for HGS though, there are parts where it seems that the protagonist's mom is against homosexuality if you think that's annoying, don't bother reading it. However, this is not a big part of the manga so I'd recommend you to overlook that fact. :)
reportRecommended by Aina-Chan
Both female leads are physically strong optimistic individuals who have the goal in their new schools to make friends and stay out of trouble. Easier said than done, however...
reportRecommended by Breezie-D
The main girls for both of these series have such strength in them that you can't help but feel that they are pretty much the same type that will kick butt for what's right.
reportRecommended by AoiMemori
similar, trying to leave the violent past behind.. but can't quite drop the character
reportRecommended by amabebe
Both are freaking hilarious and have similar characters. Involves a strong girl(with funny reactions and great personalities) making friends with a yankee, along with another person as a love interest (both of which have a pervy side). Although Oresama Teacher centers more around comedy, both have some action to it as well as have the main girls with some zeal/personality to them. These two mangas are definitely worth the read! :D
reportRecommended by HippieRox
I think the story is very similar 'cause the main charakters are both girls who often talk with their fists and are extemly strong .. but have the same problem: How to hide this fact. @.@

These stories are very unsimiliar, MTNN being a detective gory-ish shounen on the edge of being seinen series, about a girls who's father was gruesomely murdered and a sadistic demon from the demonworld who has come to human world to eat mysteries and Oresama Teacher being a shoujo about an ex-delinquent girl who moves to another city to start a new school becuse she was banned from her old one, and now she want's to be normal, but ends up meeting the guy who made her delinquent in the first place. But both series are funny and have interesting character dynamics and both are worth  read more

Both are romantic comedies, even if Oresama Teacher isn't focusing that much on love and Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi being filled with fanservice. Both maincharacters have forgotten something that happened when they where younger and both have guys who are allways tormenting the main characters.
reportRecommended by AceLice
Both humorous action-filled shoujo. Oresama Teacher revolves around delinquents and fist fights, while Samurai Drive is about the descendants of samurai who carry katanas and get into sword fights. The shoujo aspect comes from both manga focusing on the need for friendship rather than romance.
reportRecommended by noirgrimoir
In some way, Oresama Teacher and the first volumes of Bleach are similiar. Both have a pretty random humor and they are both in a way about delinquents. Oresama Teacher is a shoujo, but the way its not claustrophobicaly focused on the maincharacters, and the way of storytelling, is pretty similar to a shounen. Also, both series have a lot of hilarious characters... and bunnies.
reportRecommended by AceLice
Both mangas have ridiculously strong female fighters surrounded by male bishounens, although Oresama Teacher is more comedy and Hot Blooded Woman is more drama.
reportRecommended by Breezie-D
they have strong girls in a club trying to make school life better
reportRecommended by melody423
While the plots may seem rather very different, the overall development of both mangas is similar. It all starts with a small cast of characters that keeps growing as the main characters gain more friends. The feelings of these two mangas are very similar.
reportRecommended by Zanudikotik
The main characters Aizawa and Mafuyu are really similar. they are both interesting stories even if they arn't very similar, they're both hilarious.
reportRecommended by WhySoSerious
Sadistic male teacher sort-of love interest, and humorously unfortunate female student who hasn't a lot of choice but to do what he tells her.
