Manga: Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou
Protagonists and their fellow classmates get transported to another RPG-estique world by royalty, as the "heroes who will save their land". They get betrayed, and look for revenge, as well as a way to return back home. Their class seemed weak to others, but they grew so strong over such a short period of time, that you can consider it cheating. They surpass all their other classmates, and became very powerful

Manga: Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu
In both series the MC is taken into another world, but in Mushoku Tensei the character is reincarnated while in Tate No Yuusha the character is simply transported still both series have great Main Characters that you will love and I would recommend both series to anyone since they are great.

Manga: Nidome no Yuusha wa Fukushuu no Michi wo Warai Ayumu
Both protagonists were discriminated by their summoners when they were brought to another world. Only after being thrown away, they grow stronger and hope they can grab a hold of revenge against everyone who discriminated against them.

Manga: Helck
Both series takes place in the fantasy setting. The story of both series follows a different premise but involves choosing a special individual to become a key figure in their world. They also come across dangerous adversaries while fighting for what they believe in. There is ton of action along with tragic drama as the story drags on. Recommended for fans of fantasy and adventure.

1) Both main character are transported to another world 2) Both stories are set in a fantasy world 3) Both main character were otakus in his previous worlds 4) Both main character suffer a lot 5) Both Light Novels have several scenes of gore 6) Both Light Novels have a lot of mistery that are answered as while the story continue

Manga: Fullmetal Alchemist
So... I recently finish to read Fullmetal Alchemist's manga and in several parts I can found similitiries with Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari (mainly with the Wn's version). Both stories are ver enjoying for various factors: 1) In both FMA and Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari the characters have a sad and tragic past 2) In FMA the alchemist search "The Truth" and this theme remember me to the mistery of the Legendary Weapon (that is revealed at the final of the novel, not more spoiler) 3) In both the government have a great importance for the story 4) Despite most of character in both stories have a sad past  read more

Manga: Only Sense Online
Although it's VR in OSO, the fantasy worlds of both series are largely similar in terms of environment and activities. Both MC are very similar in terms of their roles and leisure activities. Also their 'situation', SUCH AS: being believe to be weak because of their abilities, but showcasing otherwise.

Manga: Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken
1) Both main character are transported/reincarned in another world 2) Both stories are set in a fantasy world 3) Both LNs have enjoyable characters 4) Both stories have good lore 5) Both main characters have his own lands and build a nation 6) Both main character rise really fast (not more spoiler for enjoy more of the LN)

Manga: Megami no Yuusha wo Taosu Gesu na Houhou
Both are Isekai, the Antagonism follows a similar Stubbornness pattern. The Protagonists are fairly different but it's definitely worth a read.

Manga: Absolute Duo
Both Main Characters use a shield instead of a "proper" weapon, but it turned out to be as powerful if not more powerful than the other weapons.

Both are isikais with a fantasy, rpg like setting. Both main characters become super strong super fast, and they both train subordinates(new party members) to fight with them. -raccoon girl +lizard girl

Manga: Dungeon Seeker
MC gets betrayed by party, is a weakling, and must work hard to achieve own success. MC gets great powers but still struggles against his enemies instead of curb stomping them all the time. MC has a fighting style that's not based on strength and doesn't use a sword. RPG status table system.

Manga: Konjiki no Word Master: Yuusha Yonin ni Makikomareta Unique Cheat
Both have main character teleported to another world, both MC have a similar personality. The setting is both in worlds that are involved in war and serious conflict. Also both MC do odd jobs while traveling the world but KnW fleshes that out more and TnY only does it for a few arcs.

Manga: Dungeon Meshi
If you just want to read a manga where the basis is a "RPG set" those two are perfect. Dungeon Meshi however has a more carefree atmosphere than the normal RPG mangas.

Manga: Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku
While reading Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyousoukyoku, Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari often came to mind. For one thing, both series make use of a mature protagonist as their narrator, which in turn, presents a more analytical and pragmatic view of their worlds. Then, there’s also the shared themes that can be found throughout both works, such as the means of summoning heroes, heroines, slavery, and game-like skill mechanics. If you’re into your fantasy novels with a slightly more seinen edge, then you certainly can’t go wrong with either.

Both protagonists were heavily mistreated by many within the kingdom they were involved with, so they fought back. Losing the ability to (more-or-less) trust others, they left the kingdom behind to travel to other places instead, increasing the number of trusted allies on the way.

Manga: Isekai Shihai no Skill Taker: Zero kara Hajimeru Dorei Harem
The protagonists are transported to an RPG fantasy world setting, and tries to find a way back home, but as the story progresses, they get attached to live in the magic-fantasy world. They both have overpowered skills right from the get-go, and start to grow even more potentially overpowered. They both buy slaves as party members and heavily rely on slavery as a means for trust. They are both summoned heroe. The difference is that Tate no Yuusha's protagonist is summoned by royalty, and is antagonized; while Isekai Shihai's protagonist is summoned by a group outside the reach of royalty, and is antagonized.

Manga: Zero no Tsukaima
In both series the MC were summoned into another world. Both are Medieval-ish with Magic settings. Saito is like a slave for Louise in Zero No Tsukaima while the MC in Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari is the opposite. (Master). In the case of Saito he was summoned into Louise's world to protect her while Naofumi were summoned to protect another world.

Manga: Sword Art Online
Both MC were trapped in a VRMMORPG World (In Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari case its similar) where they have to fight to survive/protect something. Both MC is trying to find a way to escape from the world In the case of SAO Kiritoh start off being OP early while the MC in Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari get stronger bit by bit. There will be sword fight scenes within both series, medieval-ish setting. However SAO does not have any magic settings in it.

Manga: Yuukyuu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume: to, Pochi no Daibouken
The protagonist are the so called anti-hero, who seems to show no care fore their colleagues at first site, however in contradition with what they show they have a really caring heart, always trying to help the improvement of their partners, and, always accepting "quests" with seem to be "mendokusai" (hard to deal with). They are also more strong then what their fellow colleagues believes than to be

Manga: Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu
Although these two light novels differs a lot story-wise, they also carry their similarities as adventurous fantasy series. Both protagonists are, not by choice, bound to a role (in DenYuuDen he's the bearer of Alpha Stigma, in Tate no Yuusha it's the Hero of the Shield) that's despised by society. Both series has a theme concerning legendary heroes, and as they're set in a fantasy world, they're full of magic, dragons, knights, kingdoms and whatever you could expect from your typical fantasy story. Not to mention a great set of characters, I can recommend both of them!

Manga: Souen no Historia: Shintaku Shoujo no Biblion
Both novels feature the familiar transported/reincarnated to a fantasy/game-like world from Japan theme. In TnY, the main character is summoned into a different world but in Souen no Historia, the main character dies after saving a girl and is reincarnated into a different world. Both main characters become extremely OP, Naofumi from TnY is a 'hero' while Souji from SnH is an overpowered butler (think Hayate no Gotoku). Both series feature harems and are enjoyable to read.

Manga: Nidome no Yuusha wa Fukushuu no Michi wo Warai Ayumu
Both have a male protagonist that goes to another world and want revenge - Shield - Spear guy( good thing I guess) - Racoon girl + Rabbit girl + Torture methods + Sword power hero Pretty similar to tate no yuusha, I really recommend you to read the manga ou the light novel Nidome is about a guy that wants revenge after being betrayed and so he swears that if he ever get another chance to get it he will make sure to make everyone have a Slow and Painfull death.
