Both feature hot blooded protagonists who are incompetent when it comes to magic but proficient when it comes to swords. Filled with alot of adventure and we'll rounded characters.

Of course you have to recommend the prequel with UQ Holder, assuming it hasn't already been read. While it is not entirely necessary to read it, it does add to some of the fun, as you can see characters from the past pop up in UQ Holder, as well as understand some of the backstory behind Negi Springfield and Fate Averuncus

These are both essentially love stories packaged inside a premise of a group of people with special powers working to improve the world. Andy and Touta are very similar characters, with the main difference between the two is that the main heroin in Undead Unluck is not immortal, but instead makes people unlucky. Overall they are very similar and I enjoyed them both immensely.

-Ecchi fanservice, but on entirely different level -Shounen type manga, the fight quality is surely amazing -The plot runs the very similar: typical lewdness at the start, then hype shit caught up, then these elements r balancely devided. Along with these two, the development of characters and twists contribute some goodies to these manga

Magic exists in both series as Mx) and UQ Holder! takes that concept and molds it with its characters and story. The main male protagonist gets involved with various events that has influences from the past, present, and future. There is a good deal amount of action in both series to test the limits of our character's abilities. Mx0 is more noticable for focusing on its mechanics while UQ Holder takes those mechanics to craft a creative story.

Both deal with a team of people sent out to fight against an alien threat that is constantly becoming stronger. Both mangas have a feeling of mystery, supernatural, action and adventure.

After reading UQ Holder i found the manga quite similar to fairy tail -both have fan service -fights are short, with exceptions -are funny -but have serious fights

Both have seemingly normal male leads that get dumped into terrible situations that give them extreme powers that they may or may not be able to control. They then have to learn to deal with these powers and figure out what to do with their lives and dreams, now that they've been dragged into a mess of a situation. Touta(UQ Holder) is a bit more happy go lucky in personality than Thoma(Nanoha Force), but they both care deeply for their friends, and can kick some serious butt. Both series are based in the Universes of well established franchises, but rely very little on previous knowledge of those  read more
