Both have girl posing as a man, in a time with knights, magic, monarchy, etc. the heroines are both physically and mentally strong, although the heroine of Saver is a bit more masculine. lots of interweaving plot threads. romance in both involves not knowing each other's true identity

Both pretty similar in story wise, girl dresses up as a boy, prophecy to save the world, sword fighting, historical romance. 

The two are similar in various ways. 1. Setting- both are set in a historical setting (although Saver travels back and forth in time) 2. Strong Female Lead-both Ley and Sasara are forced to become men due to their circumstances. Saver focuses more on Ley's revenge and goal rather than romance, whereas Basara balances war and romance with emphasis on romance. Does a female lead who constantly fights for her love make her weak? That is up to you to decide. 3. War- in both series, the protagonist is a leader of a fighting regimen. Dressed as men, the protagonist travels around and gathers allies and forms friendships along the way. If you liked Basara, you should consider Saver your next series. read more 

for one if you like time-travel/different dimensions you definitely like Kanata Kara. it has fantastic Romance. good character development. And is just beautiful to look at and heart warming.  

Main characters in both mangas are thrown into a different world. 

Both are about two girls who get transported back into Ancient Europe and must fight a war to get what they wish for; both have romance for the main character, though Saver a little less so. Still, they're both really good, and all the while I read Red River I kept thinking of Saver. 

So Lena and Yuri. Both go back in time. Both fall in love with royalty. Both are really badass in war Both are really smart Both have loyal companions Both stay in the past (in the end)  

Both are set in historical settings, have beautiful artworks and include cool independent, strong (physically & mentally) clever female protagonists that I just loooove. The girls are placed in similar yet different situations, surrounding a political plot, where they play an important part and have had to hide their genders for personal reasons. Both girls even have a darker side/past to them. However, Changge uses more of her 'strategist' side whereas Ley/Lena is equally a fighter and thinker. Overall both are great reads with awesome leads that don't disappoint. 

Both stories have the main character as a strong woman with excellent sword skills that have to pose as men in order to save the land in which they have found themselves mysteriously teleported to. 

These stories are about a teenager from our time that excels in kendo. The similarity between the stories doesn't end here: Both of them drown, but wake up in a medieval era and realise they are tangled up in karma, faith or destiny. So these teenagers engage in war and use their kendo-skills to save the day. Threads of Time has a realistic setting - the Korean war with the Mongols. Saver has a less realistic setting: there is a fantasy-like race with inhuman powers.
