Two of lead girl characters looks same asocial, schizoid, unfashionable style. And the other lead guy will change her properties as time goes and they fall each other deeply. Same going.

Both have a girl who's a little stupid when it comes to guys and such, and a guy who all the girls want but he never dates. (Trust issues). Overall both are really great and funny stories about love.

Both of these mangs are sentered around a very popular guy who is perveted and has girls at their dsposal and a girl who is kind of unpopular and sort of has a hobbie/ secret that most people don't know of. The guy notices the girl and trys to make them like him. The female main character cuts the male main characters hair. In both series the boys, dont trust women and afraid that women will hurt but both boys find something special in both female leads. Both are nice shojo reads.

Story of a quiet girl who is 'target' of the most popular guy in school. Female MC is trying to not get any need attention from anyone. She, as the only one, don't care about male MC.
reportRecommended by Shadake
Similar female leads, both are unsociable and unpopular, both trying their best later on and both liking the popular guy. While Kyou, koi wo Hajimemasu carries a more serious tone, with some borderline smut scenes and Koisuru Mitsuba carrying a more lighthearted and cute tone, they're both good reads.

In both manga - girl doesn't like the ' prince ' of the school, but in the end she founds out about his good heart and fall in love. Of course, in Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu and L-DK - the main male character is mean in the begining, and he seems to be having fun with the girl he just meet. So if u like L-DK, you will defently like it too.

In both series, the main girl gets involved with a popular yet narcissistic guy at school. Their initial encounter doesn't go well as the guy acts arrogant towards her while displaying an aggressive attitude. However as the story progresses, we learn more about the main male protagonist and their personality. There's even a deeper connection that begins to form between the two main characters. Both series are known for their drama and romance. In Takane to Hana, it's portrayed more as comedy while Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu is more serious in nature with some mature context.

If you're looking for some romance, then these two series will definitely have something to keep an eye on. Both series focuses on relationship developments with the main characters. The main male protagonist has similar personalities with their cold personalities but warms up to their companion as they learn more about each other. Both series has a lot of drama that escalates with various circumstances. Throughout their story, we also see a different side of the male protagonist and realize that they may not be so bad after all.

Both of them are set in a school setting. The boy and the boy are both top students in their class and they would always compete with each other for the top spot. WIth that, a budding romance starts! Both of them are really cute and sweet and tehy both delve into the issue of what they want to be when they grow up.

these two mangas have many things in common and different about each other kyou, koi... - has more smut -is more drama centered lastgame -comedy centered -more naive shoujo both -popular boy who is smart -clueless heroine who styles old fashioned clothing and twin braids -both have a sense of the two main love interests competing -there are extra loves for both the hero and heroine for drama -both heroines are in a denial like phase -both heroines are school oriented -both male leads are somewhat 'players' AND MOREEEE i recommend you try both yet be warned SMUT but they are both really good and around the same length story, and chapter wise

1) Boths are about a continuous relationship between two school students 2) Guys are smarter when it goes about both study and relationships 3) For girl it is first love 4) Many chapters in manga Though KKwH is more mature and touches the theme of physical side of dating much more and in MC, though they live together, things are more innoscent

Although not in an elite high school class as in Special A, the female leads are perpetually in "second place" to their top-scoring love interest.

Both male's have trouble trusting women, which jeopardizes their relationships. They are both perverted, too.
reportRecommended by pillock
Both mangas contain óld fashioned girls' who habour insecurity due to thier sisters being everything they're not and crushing on the guys they themselves like. I found this mangas very similar right away ^_^

Let's see.. starts off with an uncaring kind of guy, the main girl does something to stand up to him (whether it would be for his disrespect or just long hair), and he responds by picking on her. And soon after that turns to love.. Both stories actually go deeper than that, with a girl that would do something you would not totally expect. For Hana Yori Dango, she's strong-willed and determined, which can be said the same for KKwH. Both heroines have an influential aspect, where their love interest is just some cold person that really stands out (really rich guy in Hana Yori  read more
