Both stories are about rebellious and powerful groups of people fighting against nation-wide evil. And both are equally awesome.

A classical adventure set up where the main characters are "the bad guys", criminals wanted by the government. Very traditional shounen, with the typical battles, special abilities and powers, and character's dreams. Very enjoyable.

Been reading up to chapter 37; - The main character makes you think of Natsu in a way, with his friends somewhat resembling: Lucy, Grey/Gajeel, Juvia and Happy if you look at their relationships with one another. - Great fight scenes. - Some fanservice exists in this manga but it isn't it's a big selling point or a main reason to read this manga (which is a good thing). - Getting stronger to protect friends is a theme that has been relevant already. - Sudden power up exists like in FT but not whenever it would be nice to see, only in certain situations, not  read more

Taking place in a fantasy world, Magi and Nanatsu no Taizai builds on their story with its colorful cast of characters. The main male protagonist from both series has similar personalities and often takes risks to help their friends. Other characters' roles becomes connected in a story that is dominated by conflicts revolving around their world. There is a good deal of shounen style battles in both series along with an unique arsenal of weapons that are adapted. As a series about adventure, I recommend anyone to check out both series to enjoy what the thrills it has to offer.

Detailing the journey of the main characters, Hunter x Hunter and Nanatsu no Taizai are firm examples of an adventurous series. Both series have supernatural/fantasy concepts along incorporated shounen style battles. The main male protagonists have similar personalities but deeps down cares about the comrades they meet during their journey. Recommended for anyone who is interested in a cleverly written story in a fictional world.

For anyone interested in fantasy adventure, Akatsuki no Yona and Nanatsu no Taizai focus on this concept to the very core. Both series' main male protagonist travels with a female companion with a purpose. They become close throughout their journey as they discover wonders about their world. There are distinctive differences between the two series but both rely on purpose, a reason to fight for what they believe in. Clever flashbacks and dialogues are used to inform the readers of the setting, characters, and origins for both series. If you like an adventure of fantasy with rich details, I highly recommend giving both series a  read more

Taking place in a fantasy world, both series follows an adventurous tone with its main cast of characters. The main male protagonist from both series are selfless, courageous, is always on the lookout for a challenge. During their adventure, they encounter many friends, allies, and enemies. They also develop a deep relationship with the main female protagonist as well. Furthermore, both female protagonist has secrets of their own as we learn more about them throughout the story. - kind of medieval high fantasy setting - great characters with well-written backstories - magic, fairies & demons - tragic moments - in both manga one character wants to bring his dead woman back to life - very detailed & creative character design - immortality as a central topic

Great fantasy world manga with lots of memorable heroes and majestic story.

The main male protagonists of both series are strong and quite intelligent without being OP or oversmart. Both have horrible reputations and their pasts influence the respective plots greatly. Strong bonds between comrades are shown in a quite casual manner and it doesn't become melodramatic or forced. The fights are quite well written and don't have illogical power-ups just so that the good guys can win.

Red Sprite follow the same beginning role as Nanatsu no Taizai as it has a strong and experienced main character traveling around the world reuniting his friends to stop an opposing evil empire from killing them and all they hold dear. It borrows tropes from Nanatsu no Taizai but still retain the incredibly uniqueness of its own world and extremmly likable characters. If you enjoyed the beginning of Nanatsu no Taizai, you will love Red Sprite. Make sure to spread the word of this manga series please.

Despite following different set of principles and premise, both series has a peculiar way of adapting their supernatural/fantasy content. The main male protagonist makes both friends and enemies throughout both series. And through those relationships, we find out a lot about their personality and background. Among other factors, comedy is adapted with good effect when it comes to character interactions. Both series also undertake story plot that involves peculiar themes that exceed beyond human nature.

Fantasy adventures taking place with a colorful cast of characters. Vampire Juuikai and Nanatsu no Taizai takes events from the past that has profound influences in the present and future. The main male protagonist has unique gifts that are both feared and respected in both series. There is a great deal of story development that connects with various sub-plots and characters. Relationships dynamics also become a focus through character interactions. If you are looking for an epic adventure, then take these two into account.

Set in a fantasy world, both Claymore and Nanatsu no Taizai involves a main character who experiences dark events in their lives. But despite this, they possesses incredible powers for combat and survival. Built on mysterious origins, we see how much the past influences their present self. At the same time, both series tells of their journey and relationship developments with others. There is a decent amount of action in both series. However, do note that Claymore indulges readers with more graphic violent while Nanatsu no Taizai depicts more of shounen.

In the current battle manga world where new mangas try to be original (and fail), this two mangas returns to the very core and tradition of classic adventure mangas. Simple but awesome artwork, interesting and cool characters and a brilliant story, the proof that you don't need to be original and revolutionary to make good manga.

Seven people associated with the seven capital sins.

Despite the different nature of Blood Lad and Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins), there is a familiar mood with both series. The main male protagonist in their story both finds a girl that they become attached with. Throughout both series, they have a goal on their mind and seeks to accomplish it through any means. And over the course of both series, there is a growing bond between the main characters as they learn more about each. Both series' main protagonist also has gifted abilities and a reputation that strikes with fear and respect among their communities.

While both series follow different premises, Shingeki no Kyojin and Nanatsu no Taizai convey their fantasy elements well with their settings. Both series' main protagonist have motivations and are joined with other characters to fight for a cause. They encounter both allies and enemies along the way. There are certain mysteries revolving around both series' setting and the characters including the MC themselves. SnK composes of more of dark fantasy elements while Nanatsu no Taizai has more battle shounen tropes. Nonetheless , I recommend both series to anyone interested in colorful fantasy saga.
reportRecommended by Stark700
Both are fantasy manga about incredibly overpowered heroes fighting against overpowered villains. They use special weapons in order fight with their full power. The strongest of the main characters, Meliodas in Nanatsu no Taizai and Torama in Stealth Symphony, is usually calm and tends to not get emotional about things very often.
reportRecommended by Asfaria
Both Nanatsu no Taizai and Dragon Ball are similar in that they are both fun adventure/battle manga that don't take themselves too seriously but can still pack an emotional punch when it needs too and are mainly about adventure. The art in Nanatsu no Taizai is also very Toriyama esque.

both are very good manga both have awesome battles both overpowered mains Nanatsu no Taizai is a bit more perverted and slightly bloodier
reportRecommended by kolby549
Both have charismatic characters, great fights and a really fun action, in addition to both works being by the same author, if you liked the style of one manga with great chances will like the other.
