The whole 'perfect at school, messy at home' plot is very much like Hotaru no Hikari except that the latter is set in the protagonist's 20's in a workplace environment. I can't believe no one's mentioned this one!! But yeah, very, very similar lead girls.

Has the same sort of feel as Kimi wa Petto with the whole set up of how a guy ends up living with the main character (being total opposites) while she keeps it a secret from the person their going out with. Once you start reading you'll see plenty of other similarities that I don't want to spoil especially of how their definition of "home" changes.

In both mangas the protagonists are, for some circumstances, living together and end up falling for each other. Also the male characters are somewhat older than the female ones.

If you like the josei comedy Hotaru no Hikari - I think you should try Dame na Watashi ni Koi Shite Kudasai. These comedies have a similar flavor, both women are about the same age, in their late twenties and have never had a successful love life, each of them craves food and likes to drink! lol. The comedy in each is centered around them having to live with their boss because of money problems, and their bantering conversations where they make fun of their boss to his face is similar. Both manga feature a female who is seemingly perfect in public but are actually lazy, messy, and dress unfashionably at home. Both manga are different, but they have the similarity of dealing with issues about relationships and people's true feelings and their true selves.

In both manga, the girl first loves one guy, but has this other one close to her that jeopordizes their relationship (both in different ways). After, they start going out, but it doesn't just end there. There are secrets that are created along the way and other people that may just pull them and their hearts apart from each other, or make them realize that their hearts weren't with each other in the first place.

Young working women who date a couple of guys they work with, so both these joseis have elements of a love triangle or reverse harem, and both have a lot of humor but also are more realistic rather than just purely idealistic romances.

Taiyou Ouji like Hotaru no Hikari both makes the reader cringe in disgust at the art style, therefore, forcing us to either dropping the work or giving it a chance while hoping the story will make up for the mangaka's horrendous gift of art.

Both series are about OLs who are navigating their first relationship in quite some time, although Hotaru is far less innocent about sex and romance than Chiwa. Both also feature personal relationships between working women and their bosses. Similar comedy styles as well.

Well-known josei romance manga featuring an older man.

Not about a cross dresser but still an josei romantic comedies set in both public and private. Both have rather interesting premises and wacky, well developed cast. HnH is more of a conventional romance between a heterosexual couple.

More mature stories about working women dating younger men.
