Same genre. However in Chu-2 the cuteness overload is 100% but In ao haru ride , there is more drama. Both yuuta and futaba wanted to change their personality. That much only..

Things that happen in both: -two girls like the same boy -two boys like the same girl -a girl goes out with a guy without truly liking him -close friendships form among people with very different personalities -there is a mostly silent character (Ryu and Murao) and an extremely bubbly character (Kent and Kominato) -there is romantic tension between a student and a teacher

Both Animes have Good,Kind, Caring Characters and Both are Romance Animes That have moments where they feel Strong Emotions like Sadness and Happiness but at the Same time beautiful that's why I think it's Similar

Both of these mangas involve love triangles where it would make you swoon for all of the main guy characters, giving you heartaches because you just find it incredibly difficult to choose who is better or who should end up with the main female protagonist of the story. Both of these story lines are also very interestingly fluffy and cute and I HIGHLY recommend it for those who are into these types of story.

Both involving a lead heroine who deals with the male protagonist with his own personal situation/s with his life. They both also circle around the idea of "friendship" as well, though not particularly in the same way.

Same Author and although the stories aren't completely the same, they have the same feeling/atmosphere to them. The male protagonist of both series are both 'mysterious' and cute ~ Great stories the both of them.

The romance is kinda similar. Like how the guy chooses another girl over the girl he currently likes.

Although the plot is quite different as Kinkyori is Teacher-Student relationship while Ao Haru Ride is between classmates/childhood classmate. The Female Lead Uri kind of reminds me of Futuba in Ao Haru Ride. Both are refreshing characters and not the typical shoujo girls. They are both strong, bright, funny, dependable and outright straight forward. Uri reminds me of Futuba when they are embarrassed the expressions they make are so similar and they shrink bodies and faces at times almost the same. They are both crybabies and with solid friends nearby supporting them. Of course there has to be the rival love from the past of  read more

Both heroines are mesmerised by their male counterparts. There is also a friendly, caring and honest guy friend who falls in love with the heroine and an ex who disrupts the relationship between the two main protagonists. Both play on the same sort of emotions and are touching in their own way ^-^

There really isn't much of a similarity of plot between these two, but the feeling and cuteness is the same. Ookamidomo is way shorter and fast paced, and because all the romantic scenes are so spontaneous and adorable it makes for MAJOR dokidoki, while Ao Haru Ride is slow (but not too slow!), or actually more like PERFECT paced and you really see the character's grow closer and fall in love with each other more and more. Ao Haru Ride's main girl is more quiet and thoughtful and shy, but she's definitely not an annoying scared heroine, while Ookamidomo's main girl seems the same in  read more
