Manga: Tokyo Genji Monogatari
The main similarity is that DEATH lurks over the main cast and follows them where ever they go! Although Tokyo Genji Monogatari is more about the human mind where Another is more about mystery solving. Both stories have that the main character can't remember some part of hes life witch is crucial for the story.
