A series by the same mangaka. In which the protagonist also has to deal with the results of murder and finding an unusual girl.

They give very similar feels. Also how they kill for "justice".

Looking for a suspenseful thriller? Kimi no Knife and Tsumi to Batsu combines elements of fictional mystery and thriller into a story with dark revelations. The main male protagonists gets themselves involved into complicated matters that includes murder. These events lead to more problems as others gets involved. And throughout a majority of the story, there is a sort of cat-and-mouse game that preys on the characters. Motives, secrets, and troubles are evident in both of these series.

With a dark story involving crime and murder, Montage and Kimi no Knife are series that I'd recommend to anyone who is interested in mystery fiction. In both series, the main male protagonist finds themselves in a complicated situation where there murder is involved. While both series follows a different set of principles and premise, they both involve a lot of plot twists as the story progresses. Every chapter develops its story more and more with a sensational thriller feeling that will leave you hungry for more.

Both main characters aim to protect a girl, both definitely under the 'true crime' genre, both mc's kill for less 'conventional reasons' i.e. revenge and instead kill for deeper reasons e.g. Shiki to fund his sisters treatment, Jin because his father makes him. If you enjoyed kimi no knife you will enjoy Bastard because, IMO, Bastard is better written.

Both series has a similar feeling that deals with a realistic and dangerous job that often puts the main characters' lives at risk. Both series' main protagonist are cunning and often plans their moves ahead in order to accomplish tasks assigned. The tasks are sometimes considered controversial and not legal by public standards. Of course, they do come with great rewards. Both series has action, drama, and gives off a seinen feeling.

Very much the same mood. Involves killing, problem solving and the internal thoughts of some characters with pretty unfortunate pasts.

Similar concept and feel; both stories revolve around a group out to kill 'bad guys', and another trying to predict their next move and stop them. A slight supernatural touch to both of them as well, but not the main focus of the story.

Both involve protagonists moved to kill people for mysterious corporations and unknown reasons.

In both manga the main character works for a mysterious organization which involves killing. So if you liked the gore in UDDUP, then you might be interested in Kimi no Knife. They both involve similar characters: a detective, a young girl with strange abilities etc; and give off a similar feeling. They're both unique in their own way and have different storylines. If you liked UDDUP then you will definitely like Kimi no Knife, and vice versa.
