Both are Supernatural, Harem manga with a protagonist being protected by some hot supernatural girl (Moka=Vampire | Himari=Cat Spirit). Eventually develops into a harem with the guy being surrounded by cute girls and plenty of action on the side. Both protagonist eventually develop a supernatural trait/ability. ^_^

These two romantic comedies primarily revolve around the unusual relationship between a normal human male and a female cat that can take on a human form.

Both of these titles are set in supernatural settings in which some personified animals/objects can take human forms. The main premise of both titles is an ecchi one; featuring male protagonists who develop a harem consisting of said animals/objects.

both have demons, demon slayers, and infighting between demon slaying families. good read. OH has a lot more ecchi though, but both are good for a laugh.

Sekirei has far more complex plot, sometimes even too complicated for a fighting harem you'd expect. :) Omamori Himari is much simpler in terms of storyline, it features a wider variety of characters, and battles are less significant.

Alright well you might be asking yourself "How is this similar?" Aliens and Demons? Well both manga start off with a weak main character who is being protected by a hottie. The main character is a really nice guy who slowly getting more and more girls, but doesn't really know how to handle all this harem. We have the jealous best friend. The bit of "loli" from the at first evil now siding with the main character character. The maid-type chick who comes in later. Throw in a bunch of ecchi and fighting. OH! Don't forget the main character learns to protect himself. Both series are really good, but personally I like Omamori  read more

Similarities: Both are action, comedy, ecchi, harem, fantasy, supernatural books. Both are extremely ecchi. Both main heroes are monsters (Demonic Dragon/Demon Slayer) with extraordinary power that have a harem of various beautiful monsters. Both main heroes are surrounded by a bevy of beautiful monsters. Both have a cat youkai (Koneko/Himari) in their harem. Both have a magic user (Rossweisse/Kuesu) in their harem. Both have a loli (Koneko/Shizuku) in their harem. Differences: Issei (DxD) comes from a regular family with no special traits or skills, whereas Yuuto (Omamori Himari) comes from the distinguished Amakawa family that specialize in Demon slaying with their clans secret skill. One guy surrounded by several girls who's either cats, foxes, wolves or demons, and who falls in love with him because of his kind personality. Lot of ecchiness in both. in marugoto he is dressed like a girl though:(

Both ecchi mangas have a similar feeling and they both feature cat girls and the rivaling around one character.

Omamori Himari is also a harem manga with much ecchier scenes than Negima. It revolves around one boy with sexy demons and one human instead of mages.

In Yume, you have average dorky guy meets dream goddess who gives him harem and trouble, whereas Omamori has average and at times dorky guy meets one unique necko-mimi who opens up a whole lot of harem goodness and trouble. So pretty much same concept. Both Omamori and Love Yume have same art style as well.

They are both with a beautiful girl who is living at the same roof and they both excellent romantic comedy story.
