Manga: God Child
Both series play with master/servant relationships, torture, and in both there is mention or glimpses of incest. Lots of drama in both, but only hinted romance in Godchild.

Manga: Yuuutsu na Asa
Both are early 1900s period pieces that share themes of rape, political intrigue (though this is much more of a focus in Yuuustu na As), and hatred of family. These are dark, twisted, mature, not really happy stories. But both kept me engaged and turning the pages even if I didn't feel real great while doing so.

Master x Servant. Same hidden secret. Similar parents. Both dealing with inheritance and hatred between siblings.

Manga: Roman Gousha
Both are historical manga where one of the main characters is of nobility/rich, and the other main character is new to town and seeking employment.. In each manga the servant is abused sexually, but by the end of the story there are feelings of love involved.

Manga: Satougashi no Dangan wa Uchinukenai: A Lollypop or A Bullet
- main characters are emotionally and physically abused - beautiful art - unique characters, you become invested in - both stories begin off light but gradually become darker and darker - violent and bloody - philosophical and psychological - deep literary allusions of classic books and poems - short intellectual reads - tragedy * S.K is Yaoi while 'Lollipop or Bullet' focuses on the friendship/possible romance of 2 young girls.

Manga: J no Subete
Both of the MC faced a tragic childhood in which led them being undoubtedly cold-hearted and almost inhuman. J possesses the beautiful face of Marilyn Monroe while Souma was treasured like a doll due to his ravishing looks. Also, I'd like to add that they have an interesting relationship with their father. To sum it up, Sakura-gari and J no Subete have very morbid BL undertones, in which I think worked so well in both of the stories. These stories will leave you such a powerful impact on the reader.

Manga: Sora wo Daite Oyasumi
Both begin as a light-hearted yaoi with cute leads, both descend into darker and darker places. They're both worth the read if you can stand the darker elements.

Manga: Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai
Both stories share themes of psychological abuse with characters who are broken by the relationships they have with one another. While SG begins with a cheerful atmosphere and spirals into an emotional narrative, Saezuru (along with its Tadayoedo prequel) takes a darker, more graphic approach, quickly introducing you to a lonely and depressing existence.

Manga: Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai suru
Tragic and disturbing stories about a boy who is sexually abused by someone he should have been able to trust. He wants to run away, but his abuser threatens to harm a family member if he does. Rather than try to be BL fluff, these stories are about the pain, shame, and fear engendered by this kind of situation. Zankoku feels more realistic, and is also less explicit. It also shows how a victim's sense of intimacy can be shattered by abuse.

Both are rather dark angsty yaoi. Sakura Gari being the angstiest of the two.

Manga: Kyoudai Gentei!: Brother x Brother
Both have BL and some psychological touch to it. But Sakura Gari is really heavier on the psychological stuff. SG is about this weird guy who people call a doll. A lot of people die involving him. But I must say that the ending is really weird. BxB there's this guy who goes back to his old house. But finds two other guys living in it, claiming that they are his brothers. Now whoever can stay one month in the house gets the house. Read them!! They're really good !! xD

Manga: Hitsuji no Uta
Though Sakura Gari is often seen as yaoi alone, the heart of the story is actually very much centered on psychological abuse and its after-effects, and no other story treats such an issue better than the manga Lament of the Lamb. Both stories also spotlight forbidden relationships and show just how damaging they can be. Though these manga have despicable, flawed casts, there is a touch of hope to both stories, even in the darkness of the characters' situations and actions.

Manga: Bannin
Bannin´s first story resembles Sakura Gari: - In both there is a white haired, red eyed boy who looks like a girl and that was "hidden" from the others being enclosed in his room because he was an illegitimate child. - Both are set in the same historical time. - Both are really dark yaoi featuring drama/suicide/abuse elements.

Manga: Lovers♥Doll
Both mangas, Sakura Gari and Lovers Doll, talk about people, who’re suffering, because nobody wants to listen and understand them. Almost everyone wants to abuse them for their own selfish needs. Just the main difference is that Souma is a person, who looks like a doll, when Shimeji is a doll itself, but has the same feelings as a real human being. Also, Shimeji and Souma meet their special ones, who are willing to hear them out and change their lives forever. In both mangas there is homosexual relationship (yaoi elements). Though, I must mention that Sakura Gari is more mature and dark manga, when  read more
