Synopsis

Chrono Life harbors many players' favorite aspects in virtual reality games: the freedom, excitement, and exploration of a new world. Meanwhile, Lee Ji-u is incredibly frustrated by the game; although he spends a fortune on a sword, nobody seems to want him in their party—they berate his inexperience and shabby equipment. However, his spirits are lifted when Luna invites him to join her party. The two seem to get along well until they arrive deep in the forest, where Luna kills and ridicules Ji-u.

Distraught and dejected, Ji-u tries to upgrade his items, only for them to be destroyed by unsuccessful reinforcement attempts. A passing newbie sympathetically gives Ji-u a wooden stick, which he also reinforces—however, by some miracle, the stick does not break and reaches the game's maximum level of +99. With a single tap on the ground, the stick rips the continent in half, breaking the world record for players killed in an instant.

From his belittled, depressed beginnings, Ji-u becomes one of Chrono Life's most powerful players—his feats changing his life and the game forever.

this series is greatly underrated, I couldn't stop laughing for the first 12 chapters, after it was still funny but it was focusing on story telling.

most people read half a chapter and just write it off as a generic comedy, but as it goes on it starts showing that the author really knows how to write a story even if its scuffed in some areas, the reaction faces the characters have always put me on the ground with how dumb and funny they are, plus the author very accurately portrayed online gaming and how people act in them, which makes a story about video games ...

I went in it blind and I was satisfied in what I read, its something you are gonna enjoy If you like comedy so try it you are going have fun time.

There isn't much in the story it's an op guy doing weird sh!t and being mean to the strongest entity's while using his +99 op wooden stick. At some might not like but give it a few chapter and it gets better and better the more chapters you read.

The art in this manhwa in incredible I will give 9/10 art also wifus are are top tiar especially with that great art.

I've read "Overpowered MC manga" before, and this is definitely not one I can include in a list of my favorites. You'll see a lot of clichés, ass pulls, and weird jokes.

For 80 chapters, it feels like there is absolutely no character growth from the MC or his partner (who's as interesting as a brick wall), and none of the characters get any development. It's a very generic comedy mixed with the OP MC trope that few will enjoy.

Characters: 1
The main cast of this manga is extremely mediocre and has no personality besides their unique quirks or backstory. Most of them are built on clichés ... (stupidly overpowered MC, idol girl abused by greedy parents, girl with terminal disease who gets cured), and the villains are no different. There's the game admin, the villain who thinks he's curing the world (obviously corrupt), the reincarnated warrior, etc. You'll only get 1 or 2 good character moments for the more frequent characters, and then they will never appear again or do anything significant. Either that, or you get thrown into the story 2/3 with even worse character traits.

Art 4
The artist sure knows how to draw some good monsters, especially when representing the scenery in "The Nest of Urus" and the normal monsters of any MMORPG. The only reason this category isn't ranked higher is because I have to include in this session the number of thirst panels for the female cast and absurd (yet sometimes funny) exaggerated expressions that make me feel like I'm watching an episode of Uncle Grandpa on Cartoon Network. Especially in later chapters, you'll find an unbearable amount of panels where the only thing to see is some dialogue and any female character in a sexualized position with 300% better art quality than any other normal panel.

Story: 1
It's just an open-world MMORPG with a bunch of weekly villains for the main character to beat up with their OP stick. I hate the story because it is literally just centered around this one guy who just got really lucky, and now all the story can do is restrain the main character to stretch the plot a chapter or two (or 10). This includes trapping the MC in another dimension, taking the stick away from the MC, trapping the MC in another dimension AGAIN, making a villain that is immune to the stick, etc., but of course he will get some absurd power-up or ridiculous ass pull when there's an obstacle. By chapter 2, he is already the most powerful character in the series, and that isn't interesting at all and leaves little to no room for conflict besides the other characters being useless when he's not around. The story is rushed as fuck (which is actually a plot point, somehow?) and somehow still slow, and in the end, the plot has more trouble containing the MC than the MC himself.

Enjoyment: 2
I would give this category a 1, but I did read 82 chapters of this pile of shit. If you don't have as much of a critic view, it is possible to enjoy this somewhat sick humor of the MC climaxing (??) every time he beats up someone, but honestly, with so many repeated jokes, ass pulls, and clichés, it's really hard for me to give this a good rating. I can only recall laughing 1 or 2 times when reading this, which is definitely subpar for a series with over 80 chapters. Overall, a 2/10.
