Manga: Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami
Both novels are have strong female MCs with ambition, trying to stand on their own two feet and survive in high society. Both are focused on their goal, not on love. Both have a group of loyal ppl around them. Whereas in Saiunkoku, Shuurei is more in need of protection and have several guys falling in love with her; in Duke's Daughter, Iris is more admired for her redeeming qualities than romantically sought after. Both have exciting political elements.

Manga: Ookami-heika no Hanayome
Both stories have a tough, frugal and hard-working heroine that gets enticed into a job for the opportunity to earn a lot of money... the job? In both cases is being the King/Emperor's temporary consort. Both have it tough against the hardships of palace life, assassins and politics. Difference between girls is one is of a noble family (Saiunkoku) and the other is a commoner (Ookami-heika).
