Four Knights of Apocalypse is a sequel to 7 Deadly Sins i assume ppl who read this review have at least heard of it

Story: (7/10)
Remember King Arthur? good the 4 knights of apocalypse are a group of knights destined to kill him and destroy the world, we follow the protagonist who is one of those knights (the title gives it away afterall) who can be described as kid goku with magic

Art: (7/10)
The art is not great but i wouldnt call it bad either its fine

Characters: (7/10)
Most of the characters are likeable but the story hasnt done a good job on developing many of the characters, ... until now only i would say only lancelot, percival and maybe tristan are the only actual characters the rest have potential but they are just there

Overall: (7/10)
This manga like 7 deadly sins has some questionable staff if you can ignore it then its a decent manga but if you cant you shouldnt read it or if you are looking for good art you should avoid this manga but if you are a 7 deadly sins fan or a new anime/manga fan you should read it or wait for the anime thats coming soon.

When I discovered this, I was already mocking the poor writing thanks to 7DS. But as a degenerate who somehow prefers to read and watch bad stuff over good stuff, I read it. And honestly, it didn't disappoint me as much as i was thinking...yet

This story is still a typical shounen with the happy-go-lucky protagonist and his crew with epic fights with overpowered enemies. The story is just like 7DS, main character is wanted but is a good guy (also looks like an 6 year old but is older), bad guy wanting to make a genocide, THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP !
When I was reading, ... it made me think about some other animes. Like at the beginning, main guy lives a happy life, gets Tanjiro'd and voila, the story started. He quickly meets friends whose personality resemble the 7DS crew's imo and bad guys coming after them endlessly. With some emotional moments that didn't faze me, this is indeed a masterpiece when it comes to writing.

The characters are quite nice but the fact that I can't even remember their names proves that they're not very memorable. Ok, i remember Sin but that's only because his name has 3 letters. When I finished 7DS, I thought that this story would be about the Meliodas and Elisabeth fusio- sorry I meant, Tristan. But no, it's about some guy with weird hair. We don't know the main crew's background because everyone was abandoned by their parents and have some kind of tragic backstory. Their personality aren't very creative, there's the tsundere-ish guy, the annoying girl, the guy who likes to run away (i can't think of anything else) and the super smart animal who also has a secret he can't tell the main cast. Also, damn Percival, didn't think he would be bathing with a woman and squeezing her soft and voluptuous breeeaaaad, yes, bread.

My enjoyment ? Well it certainly was more enjoyable than homework. But as i was reading this, I was just bored because nothing interesting was happening. Of course there was explosions everywhere, MC discovering a new power and all the usual shonen stuff. The thing that made me interested was the different types of magic a bit like nen in HxH. But they just threw those word around and didn't explain, maybe they will in the future though. At least it makes this world a tiny bit more structured than in 7DS, because in there, there is absolute chaos (get it ? because Arthur lol). There will always be someone stronger than the protagonists ans they will somehow become even stronger than them. I felt like there was no rules. So at least here, we have some sort of rules I guess.

Overall, it was a good surprise since it's so much better than what I imagined but it's still trash. I mean, it's good if you just started watching anime and/or reading manga but I'm not gonna continue, feel free to tell me if it somehow becomes a masterpiece

So, this is my first review. What's got me to write it is the latest chapter (ch72). I will be very short.
This manga was so far surprisingly good. I say surprisingly, because it's original manga, Seven Deadly Sins was dreadful at the end. The power levels were all over the place, there were no weight behind the characters anymore, the plotwists felt random, etc.
Well, so far this manga had not had this problems. The characters were okay, some of them a bit cliché but some of them truly interesting, the action was fine, but more importantly, the story was written interestingly, with Arthur ... as the main villain, the old characters as supporting characters, the power levels are still in check more or less, so the side characters can have actual roles, and not just be background art.
BUT. The latest chapter had a character development involving one of the best side character in the story, Jericho, which was truly horrendous. The mangaka made this grown woman fall in love with a 10-12 year old boy. Don't get me wrong the manga (and the original too) had some sketchy (or more then sketchy sometimes...) moments too involving loli-s, but this has truly crossed a line for me. And the love aspect is not described as particularly bad in my opinion. Sure, the grown woman said that it's morally disgusting but the confession is written like a usual cozy-dozy love confession. Not to mention how shallow and silly and cheap character development it is for the character itself, who has choosen an evil path because she wants to be with this boy in a dream, if she can't be with him in the real world.
Absolutely despicable in my opinion.

So: the manga itself is good, not great, but it is genuinely interesting so far. I would give it a 7/10. But because of the questionable aspects and the latest absolutely horrendous infobomb i must give a 4 at best, and sadly I can't recommend it honestly anymore.
Which is dissappointing, because the manga itself (so far at least) was not bad, in fact, I would say it was good.
