I found this while looking for a new horror manga to try, and the first chapter drew me in. It appeared to be setting up a compelling revenge story based around complex characters in a morally grey world.
My first impression was wrong. This is not horror, it's torture porn. The issue is not the violence and gore, I can enjoy that when the story calls for extreme imagery. Story: 7/10 The plot isn't the most original out there but the way this manga deals with it is extremely captivating. Every second of it was entertaining and left me wanting more. For now the story's just a thrill ride of craziness without any 'deep shit' (which also has it's own merits) but that could change in the future. Basically a bunch of psychotic kids bully another kid (protagonist). All the characters need mental help. Literally, no one is normal in the manga.
Protagonist goes out to get revenge. I honestly think this will be worthwhile to read. I'm all for revenge and brutality. This story is about revenge, but not good revenge, it's bad revenge.I can not tell you any good redeeming quality about this manga besides the slight potential for the main antagonist but thats really it, the rest is utter shit and thats putting it nicely.

Juujika no Rokunin is what you’d call a complete mess. The story is quite solid at the start, establishing the setting, characters, threat, and the general theme. There is so much wrong with this series, and not in the disturbing sense. First off, how is it in the first chapter that a car is found crashed off the side of the road and set on fire and the police label it as an accident? It makes no fucking sense! This of course isn't the only plot hole in the series (the writing is completely devoid of logic), but I have to say that it fits the overly edgy style of story.

Very simple. This series has no depth, the character development is so simple that you can easily guess how it is. This biggest point of the series that will make you crazy is about the stupidity of the Main girl as she was born to be a burden so that the Story won't end too soon. If this was the first time you read this kind of revenge story it would be pretty interes....Urg, I don't know.

Although I love the art and the story, the characters are pretty basic so far.
Your protagonist is a dude out for revenge because he was bullied (all of them are pretty messed up), and the bullies that he's out to get are made pretty extreme for their age. E.g. one guy runs prostitution services..but I mean why not I guess. The FL is written pretty unbelievably only to further the plot. Overall, the story is interesting but not particularly memorable- there's only been 10 chapters translated as of now so who knows, though it's progressing pretty quickly. Reading this feels like falling down a flight of stairs, and you hit your head on every step on your way down.
Story --- OK, so the story seems great at first. The antagonist genuinely infuriated me within the first chapter. It's a solid premise, and it does a pretty good job at firing you up for the read ahead. I was ready to see some meaty revenge action. Unfortunately, this steam doesn't last for very long. Juujika no Rokunin starts out as a very edgy, dark, gorey, revenge story about a group of unbelievably messed up children with seemingly no supervision and a horrifying sense of fun. After the obligatory shounen training time skip it turns into a revenge hit list that provides satisfying ends.
This all comes to a stop however when the plot begins to take a screeching left turn into a weirdly horrific high-school romantic comedy that seems to be only progressed by multiple instances of rape and snuff. This then starts the severe downward spiral of the story and main character development. The story doesn't get better ...

I really disliked this manga because it's purely immoral, since it's the main theme of the manga i'll rate it a 1/10 (and because i cant put a 0).
It's full of horror content, it disgusted me all along but i wanted to see some changement through the chapters, and have a global view of what could be the future of this serie, but the author only use the torture scene and fight scene as the peaks of Uruma, and use the girls as the narratives suspens, every "plot twist" are foreseeable. If you are reading this, PLEASE, stay away from this series like the plague. This is a series that makes your stomach churn while reading, a series that truly shocks and disgusts you, making you feel sick to your core. To say this is the worst manga I've ever read would be an understatement. I think this is one of the worst pieces of MEDIA I've ever experienced, the opposite of what any creator should strive for.

To sum up what I thought about the story, it was interesting in the beginning, it wasn't exactly a new concept, boy gets bullied by psychopaths and plans to get revenge. It's not horror but there was a lot of torturing and gore, which I was fine with and I really liked the art too. But then this is where it goes down hill, for some reason the author decides to insert some slice of life bullshit in the most UNCONVENTIONAL and most AWKWARD way where it's just unnatural to the story. This is one of the best manga i´ve read in awhile,you get really hooked by the first chapter. Honestly it makes you hate the ¨bullies¨of the story pretty early on, I would even say the word ¨bullies¨ too kind of a word to describe these antagonists, these people are psychopaths.
