Preliminary (16/47 chp)
It's not exactly a 'fresh take', but it almost feels like one.

The whole misunderstood-delinquent relationship shtick might be getting close to being overused, if not already, but Tonari no Furi-san ga Tonikaku Kowai's execution of the cliché is nonetheless one that deserves at least some praise.

As far as the storyline and the characters that populate it go, there's not really any need for an introduction beyond the brief synopsis. But unlike many others that revolve around a similar premise, this manga crafts these aspects in a way that avoids becoming annoying and even intolerable, and if anything, that's a great plus.

Preliminary (18/47 chp)
A cute, well executed, lighthearted misunderstood-delinquent love story in a sea of bland stories with the same premise.

The young adventure of trying to figure out each others feelings and all the anxiety that comes with it. I like that the characters arent amebas when it comes to relationships. The misunderstandings aren't there just to keep us in the limbo of not being sure about each others feelings and are being worked on, so that's always welcome

Art and style is clean and so far the story is developing well although as of Chapter 22 it hasn't really introduced anything unique or surprising - but that is totally fine if you enjoy this kind of classically cliched romcom.

Furi as the delinquent is laughably cute at times whereas Taira whilst classically dense isn't ever annoying so. The dynamic between the two feels natural and is portrayed well. Overall, so far this is a nice relaxing read without any major drama. If you're a fan of ...

This manga so pure you will get cancer. Or heart attack. Your choice.

But seriously, it's been a while since I read a pure romcom manga that makes you smile from ear to ear. The story is quite simple but its all about the characters' interactions and their reactions and will probably make you blurt out some cursed words (I did) because it's so cute and endearing. Plus, the heroine Furi-san facial expressions is just... Man... I wish I'm able to meet a girl like her...

To end this short review, I suggest you to read and strive to finish this piece, I'm sure the line "I ...
