Synopsis

There is not a lot that can faze Naoto Misono, a sincere and solemn office worker. One of the rarer exceptions is Shizuka Hoshino, his senior coworker who also happens to be a witch. Hoshino goes out of her way to help Misono, always flying to the scene on her broom to save the day. In contrast to Misono, who is always calm and composed, Hoshino is easily flustered and often scrambles to find the right words to express herself. However, the way Hoshino wears her heart on her sleeve causes Misono's own heart to skip a beat.

Before he knows it, Misono finds himself vying for Hoshino's attention; however, things are seldom as easy as they seem. He must be prepared to brave it all—even protective brothers and jealous ex-boyfriends—to ensure that his feelings reach Hoshino.

Majo-senpai Nippou is based on the web manga Mahou no Tsukaikata (魔法の使い方), released on the author's Twitter and pixiv accounts from December 10, 2017 to March 3, 2018.

This was such an adorable story!!

First of all, l quite liked mangaka Mochida Maka’s artstyle. All the characters were incredibly cute & were also surprisingly pretty expressive. Though the manga is mainly in black & white the effects left behind from Shizuku’s magic are a lot of the times in pretty pastel colors! Like if she’s flying, sometimes her magic broom will let out these cute little stars which will be in soft pastel colors, or if she does something with her magic, the sparkles & “poof” from her magic will be in light shades of pink, yellow or blue. & Honestly it’s really pretty ...

Wow, where to begin...
This is definitely written by a very sensitive person (and I mean that as a compliment) who's been through a lot in terms of relationships.

The art is stunning, the use of color as magic warms my heart.
And about characters. Both are very well developed and grow up as time goes by. They are on a journey to find self love and acceptance, discovering that there are relationships that help you find self-love and some that guide you away from it, and learning which are whitch (pun intended)
