I'm just writing this review to help out people like me. I really hate Harems, drama, love triangles and such. I've read like 15 chapters or so, and for me this manga could've been so good. Unfortunately, it's becoming so annoying. Each of the main couple have other people that they love, and it's pissing me off how much time they're spending with each other but still when they see their crush, it's as if they forget about each other. Don't bother if you're looking for a romance plot with character depth or actual development. This is one of those reads that you shouldn't take too seriously—the kind where you have to turn off your brain to enjoy it.
First and foremost, the plot premise is stupid right off the bat—a high school coupling teenage kids to act as married couples to foster their relationship skills. Something like this is typically forgivable, after all, there are plenty of well-done rom-coms that start off with some wacky gimmick. I'm enjoying the crap out of this. It is a wholesome story, with really sweet romance. Its not going to have you screaming at the characters, but it will have you rooting for them. If you enjoy romance with great art, here you go. The ecchi is very light, aka lingerie only. If you like really sweet and kind hearted female MCs, you'll like Akari.
The plot is one that gets the romance going off the bat, and because of it, the characters get to know each other very quickly. I'm not a fan of "what did you say?" moments in stories. I'm looking at you, ...

Seriously, how it is so good? Premise is preety generic and unrealistic but it doesnt stop it from being one of the best and cutest romance manga Ive read. I would say the real premise is the kiss at the end of first chapter. Finally some actual reason for characters to kinda start warming up to each other not "he was nice to me once, now me 10/10 chick, love this 3/10 dude to death". First of all, to those people who make reviews after not even reading halfway through a series, your opinions are completely invalid to me.
Second, to those people criticizing the main premise of a story, you shouldn't have bothered reading it anyway. We all have our own tastes, but you don't criticize the main premise of a story because that's a necessity for you to like it. The plot is unique; having to live with a classmate, paired up randomly with the opposite sex and pretending to be a couple to learn how to be in a relationship. Ahh!! This truly one of the best i seen recently, The plot and the art a just beautiful to see/read. The main characters development is just great. After reading chapter 24 i seriously just hope they get together already(Shipping Jiro and Akari). But also that mean the manga will be coming to an end.

If I had to describe this manga in two words, those would be "immensely frustrating". Basically everything, from the premise to the plot and the characters are precisely engineered to draw the story out as much as humanly possible. On the flip side, the art is great - but that, in itself, is not enough to make the series enjoyable.
The premise, while a bit silly, is not so bad that you can't simply roll with it. On the other hand, the "practice marriage" setup offers an ideal breeding ground for misunderstandings: people are expected to act like a married couple without actually being married or ...

I find I can't put this down, despite the fact that it's a frustrating read. The premise of the story is ridiculous, so just try not to think about that. The female characters are absolutely beautiful, and we're provided with copious amounts of fanservice along the way. With the exception of the one male and two female MCs, most of the characters play only minor roles in the story, and are two-dimensional placeholders. Jirou, the male lead, is a typically worthless lump of a guy who somehow ends up with the love of two amazing women, but has absolutely no clue

At first i was cynical reading this, seeing the cover just makes me want to read for the art/ fan service. Little do i know, its more than just the cover. the story captures how fate really can be a btch sometimes. Its a story about how love could change and evolve, for better or for worse.
One point i might say, is how the couple are bad at expressing their thoughts and feelings. I see a little bit of myself in this story, im really submerged to the pages. I really liked the story, as the progression is not rushed and its enjoyable. ...

I really enjoyed my time with this romance manga - the art is great, the female characters are charming and there is a great deal of care and effort put into their characterisation and exploration of their internal state, and though the premise is rather unbelievable and forced (it's almost hentai-esque), surprisingly, the romance is nuanced and convincing.
I think the biggest problem for me about this romance manga is that the meat of the story: the romantic relationship and the character's interactions with one another are not enough to elevate the story beyond its premise. The best of romance stories don't solely deal with ...

If you like Nisekoi then you might like it
Shiori is like Onodera but really do what she plans and not running away like onodera always did Akari is like Chitoge but less tsundere and more romantic, also damn too many fanservice (which I really like) The pacing is much better that do not have that much filler in every development they had. Ending this before reaching 100+ chapters (or maybe less than 200) is also good it doesn't just forcefully prolong the story for milking it.
