Synopsis

Visible scars cover the face and body of Leo Cornelia, indisputable proof that she has been through many grueling battles. Known as the "Sacred Sword," she is a knight unrivaled by any other, the toughest throughout the land. As the only daughter born in a house of knights, she was raised by a strict father and has dedicated her life to learning the way of the sword. Her purpose was for the battlefield, not about living her life like a woman—until she meets a boy who confesses his affection for her.

Harboring an unrequited love, Fooly Dent admires all of the qualities that Leo possesses despite her perceived lack of femininity. From time to time, he praises her on their quests together, causing Leo to act bashful and embarrassed. Unable to act like a lady beneath her tough exterior, will Leo ever let herself be vulnerable, learn to accept her feminine side, and reciprocate Fooly's feelings?

The series was published in English as How to Treat a Lady Knight Right by Sol Press beginning on July 6, 2019, but publication halted after the company went defunct in October 2021. The series has been published digitally by Kodansha USA since November 21, 2023.

I finished reading all the 134 chapters today, and my God, I don't regret spending all the hours on my bed reading this gem.

There are manga which have detailed plots, extraordinary characters and breathtaking art, but How to Treat a Lady Knight Right(I'm using the English name sorry, the Japanese one was a little too long), has nothing of that sort but I still enjoyed it a lot. Why?

The author was drawing this series one handed the entire way through.
If you're looking for a good laugh, "Imamade Ichido mo Onnaatsukai sareta Koto ga Nai Onna Kishi wo Onnaatsukai suru Manga" is not the manga for you! Unless your REALLY REALLY INTO ABS. THIGH CRUNK, BENCH PRESS, SITUPS AND PUSHUPS ALL DAY EVERYDAY with this series. Its a alright little adv romance but the gimmick wears thin really fast. It picks up at the end, but only read this again if YOUR DYING FOR SOME RED HOT WORKOUT MOTIVATION. I can almost hear the sigma male music with this one

This is actually way more disappointing than it should.

Don't expect anything beyond the manga's attempt to present you the fetishes in the most boring and cliched way possible. There is no real nuance even with its main forte, and every other aspects of the series is as bland as it can get. Every chapter is structured the same way, and almost every attempt at progressing the relationships gets written off as a joke instead, so you won't get anything meaningful with its "fluffy" elements and romance either.
