Both are cute rom-coms with an awkward male lead that eventually devolve into a situation where the two leads are pratically dating without either party officially acknolowdging it.

This is somehow similar since both of the girls like to tease their boys and the boys can make up for a critical hit to make their hearts go doki~doki.

both have the tall girl, short guy trope with the girl gaining an interest in the guy. both mc's work towards something. In chiisai... mc gets better at volleyball and is just a confident guy while in bokuyaba, mc is insanely introverted but gets much better as the manga goes along.

Both are diabetes-including romcom wholesomeness with an introverted character getting to better know an extroverted one.

If you like Ponkotsu for its self-aware main character and great comedy, but want more intimate moments between the duo, Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu is for you. If you Liked Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu's side characters and how they interacted with the main characters, along with how the main character develops their emotions, Ponkotsu will definitely not disappoint.

Both involve diabetes-including romcom wholesomeness with an introverted character getting to better know an extroverted one. Styles are similar - more than 4-koma but less than full manga.

Both high-school romcoms focus on the super-sweet romantic interactions between a shorter MC and taller FMC. Both have a short episodic manga style although still with some nice story progression.

a guy falls in love with a tall girl

Both rom-coms with huge amount of ecchi and wholesome romance. Dense male mc. Assertive and strong female lead

The vibes are the same shut-in protagonists Cute and popular girl, both protagonists hate at the beginning and fall in love with later on

Not that similar concept. But I can assure that you'll like this one as well. Akutsu-san is all about a gyaru living off on MC's apartment (kinda). While the other is a really cute(unique?) chemistry between the two. Might as well give it a try.

Both are school life romantic comedies told from the point of view of the male MC as he makes observations about the female MC. The female MC has a crush on him, although the male MC doesn't realize it yet.

Both are school life romcoms told from the POV of the male protagonist who is an average joe. The female protagonist is a cute girl who has a crush on the male MC, and she teases him. Both have ecchi but Anjou-san is more Adult while Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu is more fluffy romance.

Both feature the pure and slowly developing romance between a shorter guy and a taller girl and their daily school life, with the occasional fanservice. Both give off a similar feel with enough sweetness to make your teeth rot.

Protagonists with similar personalities

Both are romances with a tall girl and a short boy, but they don't rush the relationship building or waste your time with potential red herring love triangles. If you like one you might like the other as well.

- They're not so similar but if you're looking for another romance you could give this a try. - Cute couple and has its moments.
reportRecommended by Huqeo
Both are cute and fluffy rom-coms with a bit of drama sprinkled about. They are both well written and the themes are handled maturely. The characters are all likable and develop each chapter. I highly recommend.

Similar concept as both titles revolves around relationship between introverted short guy and tall bishoujo. Nana To Kaoru present this concept with a bit of kinky twist

If you like the fluffy feeling Shogi Senpai, you will also like the fluffy feeling of BokuYaba. Both have lots of flirting and wholesomeness!
