Another great installment by Arina Tanemura, Sakura Hime Kaden is a fantasy shoujo manga that may seem typical at first, but once you continue reading you'll find it actually has a lot of twists. Although the main character, Sakura, is a bit cliché, this manga is unique in other aspects such as the storyline and the other supporting characters. Another great manga composed by the awesome author of arina tanemura. seriously i'm a total fan of hers, i just can't get enough with her manga stories and art. Truly, i really hoped for a historical manga from a great mangaka and now i've got it. Recently i was really into a manga that was historical or more so mythological? but its not complete so to satisfy my thirst for that type of great manga, i found this very entertaining. I always love the romance in Arina's mangas, it just makes me blush and my heart beat hard. Its soooooooooo cute

When i first came across this manga i wasent expecting much because there are so many shoujo/romance/fantasy mangas that i had just about run out of patience but i was wrong this manga is outstanding. Sakura-hime Kaden is a fairly old manga series, one I have chosen to finish after 6 years (2018). I read the series when it had first come about, and wanting to explore the nostalgia, decided to pick it up again. I think is a very unique yet the same manga, it has supernatural and romance.. I really liked how the girl hated the prince, and all the twists that they have. If you looking for you supernatural, romance, shoujo this is the right manga for you.. I love the artwork of this mangaka, how detailed she is.. wow.. speechless...

i may have not finshed the book but overall it is awesome :D some of the character ideas look like there from some of arina tanemura's other manga like aoba looks like takuto and the old lady (i forgot her name) looks like a old short version of haine :D you'll notice what i mean when u read it :3

This manga is so intense! I really recommend it :)
It seems so cliche at first and the girl seems to have the potential to be so annoying (I was seconds away from dropping it), but oh my goodness (spoiler??) everything just turns 180 degrees the other way. Plot twists are pretty amazing in this story. Characterisation is done really well too. You empathise with everyone, especially the antagonists. I loved reading it. But its not complete! That's so frustrating ); But definitely something to put aside a few hours for. |
