Yancha Gal Anjou-san has very similar MCs although it's like a sexier version of Nagatoro. Anjou isn't as mean as Nagatoro was in the beginning and is a Gyaru so unlike Nagatoro, she's always made up and is a little bit of a slacker when it comes to school. Anjou also puts the MC in more provocative situations and isn't afraid to show that she likes the MC.

"Why aren't they dating yet? They are a perfect match!" Is a notion that can be applied to both the main character pairs in their respective manga and the manga themselves. You only need to take one glance at the similarities in premise, character traits, and character dynamics to see why Yancha Gal no Anjou-san is an obvious recommendation. 

The girl, Anjou-san, manages much like Nagatoro to bring out the best in her "target" and forcing him to get out of his comfort zone. Her methods rely on erotically teasing rather than physically abusing (read in both cases: obvious flirting). And like Nagatoro, she uses her tools to great effect!

If you want a similar story with less physical bullying and a more subdued tone in general, try out Yancha Gal no Anjou-san!

Both utilize the structure of a Gyaru girl teasing an unpopular and scrawny dude that she clearly as affections for. The only thing that really separates them is the style of the teasing and the utilization of the side characters.

Eccentric duos. Both Anjou and Nagatoro are paired up with unpopular guys, in this pair, Anjo and Nagatoro like to spend their times teasing their respective other.

Whilst Anjou-san is more playful, with a harmless relationship, Nagatoro-san is more extreme and leaning towards harmful.

Both feature popular girls teasing rather unpopular/nerdy guys, in an everyday-life setting.
Nagatoro's teasing can be seen rather as bullying by some (especially earlier on), whereas Anjou is more wholesome, if the former put you off.

It is similar in the sense where the Main Character gets teased by the Female Character. Anjou-san teases a Nerdy character Seto provocatively and as the story goes along, we see the characters change little by little and their relationships develop. A pretty wholesome and somewhat ecchi manga with really nice art.

im was kinda on the fence with Ijiranaide Nagatoro-san because it was borderline straight bullying, but YANCHA GAL NO ANJOU-SAN is more wholesome in a sense..

Has a lot of playful teasing just like in Nagatoro but without the bullying and sadism in the early chapters. Both female MC's try to help the male MC's come out of their shells and slowly build up more confidence..plus the cute moments are just off the charts in Anjou-san.

Very similar to each other, the premise is the same, a girl teasing a boy, except in Ijiranaide it is a bit more extreme.

This is a very similar manga, I won't go into long because it's obvious. I recommend this for those of you who like Nagatoro, Takagi is a series that is similar to Nagatoro because in every chapter they always give a fresh joke.

Teasing. Takagi and Nagatoro are both people who tease their respective peers during their school lives.

Whilst Takagi-san is more light-hearted, Nagatoro-san serves as the more extreme methods of teasing.

In both series the female lead teases her crush, the male lead, but their relationships are very different. Takagi-san gently albeit mercilessly teases Nishikata while Nagatoro bullies her Senpai without remorse. Takagi-san’s pranks are lighthearted and cerebral while Nagatoro veers towards verbal abuse and at times even cruel sadism (especially in the beginning). Nagatoro can be mean, Takagi-san is clever and cute.

Senpai is more a victim with Nagatoro constantly imposing herself into his presence but on the other hand quite early on Senpai states that it is ok which sort of make it consensual. Nishikata is often the master of his own downfall by devising various games, competitions and schemes to best Takagi-san who always ends up drawing the longer straw.

Both series revolve around the evolving relationship and deepening romance between the main characters. In Karakai Jouzo no Takagi-san the main characters are around 12-13 years old so their antics are often childlike as one would expect. Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san has more mature content although nothing beyond your normal fanservice.

In both cases the characters and their relationships can be said to be cute, but brace yourself when moving from Takagi-san onto Nagatoro as the first few chapters make it really hard to like the female lead due to the extremely foul meanness she exhibits. Nagatoro mellows out enough quickly and starts to prop her “gross, gross Senpai” up.

Similar setting and story : gal girl teases the male protagonist while the action is taking place in an highschool. Both protagonists are also from a club : while in Nagatoro-san it's an art club, in Gal Gohan it's a cooking club. There's a little difference between the two as in Gal Gohan the girl is also part of the club while it's not the case in Nagatoro-san.

The reader also have lots of occasions to see the gal's cute sides.

Both of these manga have the weak male protagonist/strong female combination, and both are romcoms. The only differences being that in Banchou-san, the strong female protagonist (who is more of a delinquent than Nagatoro) is straightforward about her love interest, unlike Nagatoro.

Both manga have a senpai and kouhai dynamic between an easily flustered guy and smug girl who likes teasing him specifically and getting his attention.

Although Pocha Musume does not have a lot of the more “sadistic” elements of Nagatoro. It very much has the wholesome and emotional moments down to a tea. 

So if you like short and smug anime girls with cute romances, definitely consider checking Pocha-musume out.

Both the female lead seem like bullies and have delinquents attitude and trouble making friends. But they really like the male lead who are both timid and laid back and genuinely scared of the of the girls who like them.... The girls might seem like bad girls but deep down they are like any girl in love. They are shy and blush when the male leads say something nice but cover it up with rough talks to keep their tough girl image..

This is not a very good recommendation but I wanted to put this on the list. Indeed, this has in common with men who are often bullied, aggressive girls, and also school love stories. Keep in mind that Ichinen A is ecchi genre so I don't really recommend you reading this in public lol.

In both, there's a female love interest bully the protagonist, while the MC is awkward and not popular at all. The two female love interests are also two popular girls. 

There's also a good amount of fanservice (more explicite in Sundome) and lots of sexual teasing. 

So; While the atmospheres of the two manga are nothing alike, they still share similar tropes.

The two couples presented have a lot of similarities in their personalities. The two girls, Kirino and Nagatoro, regularly mistreat the two boys, who are both older than their partner. There is thus within the two couples a love-hate relationship quite violent, and it can be quite hard for some to actually ship them. 

The two works are also famous for the way they have to present "taboo" couples. In Oreimo, it's a love story between a brother and a sister, and in Nagatoro-san, it's between a high school student and his bully.

The whole otaku theme is treated in both stories, but the roles are reversed. In one, it is the girl who is an otaku, and in the other, it is the boy. And the second person of the duo does not share this passion at all.

But above all, the most obvious resemblance is that we want to bitch slap the hoe during the entire reading. read more

This is a love story of a man who wants to pursue Heroine. It's a little weird but I really recommend it for you. Nagatoro is a story of bullying so this is a story of men's struggles for Heroine. It has something in common with the MC which I think is looked down upon.

I'm not sure if this is exactly the same but I wanted to put this on the list. This is a low recommendation if you don't want you can skip this. It has in common that girls are great / I mean their self-esteem, Love to play pranks on MCs, joke mostly, and of course it's not that long maybe 10-20 pages. I recommend this for those of you who want to read manga in a relaxed manner.
