The main cast is marooned on a strange island inhabited by dangerous animals with no way back to civilization. They have to cooperate to survive the dangerous new place they've ended up in while slowly realizing help will never come.

Made by the same author, they share a similar art style and both mangas jump to different views of other characters instead of the point of view of just one. I mostly make this recommendation because the characters share similar personalities and experiences in a post-apocalyptic setting.

They are both about groups of people who are trying to survive in a seemingly post apocalyptic world.

Long-running sci-fi manga originally aimed at the female demographic. Both focus on a large, well-developed cast of characters whose interactions form the core of the story. Both also make use of some of the same narrative techniques like changing points of view and flashbacks to great effect. The stories in these can get very dark and tragic at times but at the same time both are wonderfully optimistic tales about self-acceptance and growth, redemption and rebirth.

Horrifying struggles for survival in female-orientated manga. Limit has more high school girl drama while 7Seeds is a sweeping epic.

Tears, Teamwork, and Lies. Both these manga includes a group of people who are put together for a reason. Do they know what's happening? Not really, but they'll figure it out. Both manga are like puzzles, because the pieces fit together at the end. 2 thumbs up for both.

Story progresses similarly, with the last human survivors trying to thrive in a devastated world

There both about the end of the world and a group of kids trying to survive in the world. There both awesome mangas too.

Although the respective genre and style is vastly different, the shared similarities i really look for in a good manga is: - survival/horror/thriller elements - strategies, analyzing, attention to detail - mysteries, riddles and fighting - A widespread plot that gets uncovered with the path of the characters - strong, well written female leads - overall great character development - philosophical/psychological/societal themes and questions great Manga that also fall in this category and share the same elements are : Basara and Yakusoku no Neverland follow these recommendations if you look for quality manga with a great plot and are open for different genres and art styles

One is sci-fi and about the future while the other is historical and about the past, but what they have in common is a large cast of characters that you gradually grow to love. Instead of focusing on just one protagonist, these 2 mangas connect the stories of many individuals, which eventually come together. I thought they were both boring at first, but then couldn't help but become addicted. Although the premises are different, I think they are both stories about love, pain, and surviving in a harsh world.

Both are about a group of people being 'brought' to post-apocalyptic future. In Drifting Classroom, they got transported to the future. In 7seeds, they're put into cold sleep and released in unknown number of years later. In Drifting Classroom, the earth is like a desert wasteland, no fruits/plant/animal that they could eat, no sea/ocean. While in 7seeds, the earth is still changing, some living things like plants evolved, so there're still edible food that they can find, and there're sea/ocean.

Both deal with survival, finding the truth and what really happened to their world.

While they don't share any plot similarity instead they share much of the same theme. 7 Seeds main characters are taken as experiments whilst in Kaguya Hime the casts are sacrifices. Both are horror, adventurous shojo series that has survival plot and shrouded in mysteries. Both are long running series that has garnered an Award.

Permanently separated from civilization a group of individuals has to struggle against nature as well the faults of humanity as they fight to survive in a new environment.
reportRecommended by AfterGlow
Both series have themes of trauma, loss, and fighting for survival. They feature a wide cast of characters with the worldbuilding slowly being revealed as the story moves forward.
