Recommendations

Both are Boys Love/Yaoi in the work place, with an uke who is a subordinate and a nice seme who is his manager. Both pairs of characters also met each other in the past before the storyline. Also, both great reads!

both of the story are about old friends that love each other than they should break up because of misunderstanding and then get back together. although Sekaikoi is much more longer than Puchitto Hajiketa

i think whoever loves this manga will also love Sekaiichi Hatsukoi . they both have a great story line and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi never gets drawn out or boring.

The only similar part is the art hahaha. Oops. Since they're by the same author. So I guess that since you enjoyed one manga you will enjoy the other. I really like Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and for Hybrid child, is much more sad. But overall, both are good.

These two are both BL Mangas and work in publishing companies. In Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi, the characters work in publishing mangas while in Ameiro Paradox, the characters are from magazine/newspaper companies.

-Character A is mean to character B -Character B knows character A from the past -Character B harbors feeling for character A while character A slowly realize they reciprocate them.

Both are Manga Industry, Editor and Comic Artist

Character A is mean to character B with character B acts like a smug asshole. Character A gets pretty shy when character B flirts. The mangas talk about character A's past and how it made them develop a harsh personality.

The biggest similarity outside of being a BL manga: both have characters who act dismissive towards manga industry at first. In Sekaiichi, MC had to change his editorial job from romance books to shoujo manga. In Joy, important side character keeps shaming MC(a shoujo mangaka) for "not contributing to society in a meaningful way". Both stories eventually develop those characters enough for them to stop dismissing the industry.

The Hisa-chan and Icchan are pretty much the Ri-chan and Takano was in Feudal.... Although not a yaoi more rather a Shonen-ai, the history, the art, the characters, the whole plot looks like the Sekaiichi, as only has 8 caps did not yield to explore the other couples are more exploited sure would like Kisa & Yukina and Yokozaya & Kirishima.

Same concept of a highschool couple/almost couple who went their separate ways due to some misunderstanding but met once again after years of trying to move on (or not?). Miraiken feels slightly more drama-focused (plus a lot more honesty on their feelings) while Sekaiichi uses comedy to balance it out.

Both have a really nice plot, will make you laugh, and such loveable characters.

it may be rare to see this too titles together but both ukes refuse to give it up. both ukes are pridefull. but they are in love with the seme they just dont want to admit it.

In both, the story focuses on the past relationship between the main characters and even, in both, they found again in job, in Sekaiichi an editorial and in Ikasama memori a toy company, and there, working together, they have to deal with those past feelings, the uke runs away from the situation and the seme looks for it, this similitude is with Onodera no Baai.

One of the couples are a boss and a subordinate, the story is around their job (editors/designers) and the subordinate (the uke) is learning from his boss (the seme) while they are in their relationship. The same dynamic but different story. In both mangas, there are various couples that are from the same job in the same world and they know each other. By the way, I found Kei very similar to Yukina, it's the same type of character.

Kimi ga Inakerya Iki mo Dekinai and the story of Chiaki and Hatori are similar because of the characters personalities. Uke are both messy, childish human beings, completely unaware of love, focused on drawing manga and sleeping in semes beds after deadline. They rely on seme characters in terms of cooking, cleaning and in board meaning just making the living. Also the couples were childhood friends and they were always together.
reportRecommended by Nanamishi
Both are romantic comedies, even if Oresama Teacher isn't focusing that much on love and Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi being filled with fanservice. Both maincharacters have forgotten something that happened when they where younger and both have guys who are allways tormenting the main characters.
reportRecommended by AceLice
Its pretty much a role reverse in the characters but in the end alike! Due to the working in manga, the younger one looking and loving his Senpai. Even with the so called wondering and seeing how they are in the future in their lives.

Both are centred around manga publishers, and have rookies out of their depth in a new situation, but in Love Recipe, there is a male BL mangaka and his new editor, rather than 2 new editors. I think if you enjoy one, you'll enjoy the other.

One of the stories has 30+ years old character.

I'm not sure how no one made this recommendation until now. These books are both surrounding similar themes and familiar environmenta. In fact there are cameos and guest appearances in this manga from Junjou Romantica. Not only are the characters shared in some ways, but also, it's by the same artist too.

Both mangas are about boss-subordinate relationships. In Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, the uke also gets drunk one night and sleeps with his boss (although the circumstances leading up to this are not quite the same). The uke has a hard time figuring his boss out, he doesn't understand why his boss yells at him so much and treats him so harshly in the workplace yet he sleeps with him. He also has inner-conflict surrounding his feelings for his boss and coming to terms with those feelings. All of these aspects can be seen in both Joushi Tono Hitoban and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. Still, the story is different  read more
