Both deal with supernatural powers. Bleach's author, Kubo Tite, considers Saint Seiya to be one of his biggest inspirations for the designs of the different types of weapons that his characters use in the story as well as the battle scenes.

you love fighting manga? planet level, galaxy level or even higher? fight with gods, extremely powerful enemies and hero that never gives up? then this manga is for you. This manga inspired tite kubo, creator of bleach and many mangas. Difference of Saint Seiya and Dragon Ball is That Saint Seiya is very underrated.. Saint Seiya is classic fighting manga that deserves a lot attention.

Aside from these being classic 80s battle shounen titles (which serialized at roughly the same time in Weekly Shonen Jump), there's more similarities between Stardust Crusaders and Saint Seiya than you'd expect. Both feature the main characters racing against the clock and traversing large distances in order to save the life of a beloved woman and in the process they face off against several powerful foes whose mission is to stop them from reaching their destination. In both stories the characters have habilities with specific sets of rules, in both stories the protagonist's hability involves delivering a large amount of powerful punches that move at  read more

Both series are equally dramatic, epic and touching stories of heroism, bravery and friendship! Even though one is about fighting dogs and the other about fighting "pretty boys", you can find a lot of similarities between them. The main character of both is a young warrior who has had to experience a lot even as a child to become a good fighter and our heroes always manage to get their former opponents on their side to fight the real enemy. This actually isn't surprising, because both appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in the 80s and later Toei Animation adapted both into anime. They were successful  read more

Fairy Tail was probably influenced by Saint Seiya's concept of different types of constellation and levels of them like bronze/silver/gold, while strongest of them (gold) related to zodiac signs. Both contains a lot of fighting, but Saint Seiya is muuuch more serious and don't have any ecchi elements.

Both saints and sailor warriors have some kinda uniform and have titles based on astronomical objects. Both have epic fights, drama and supernatural element. Each saint/warrior have unique special attacs. Even one of the characters in Sailor Moon, also have name Seiya ^_^

Saint Seiya has a lot of similarities with HnK. The warriors n HnK represent stars and constellations and each saint in SS represents a constelation. The super human fights, the excessive blood, the melodrama... And pegasus Ryusei Ken is identical to Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken

Ring ni Kakero could be called Saint Seiya boxing,it's by the same author,Takane Ryuji is the first character to have Kurumada's protagonists face, the same character archetypes, impossible to be real attacks and even Greek gods.

Girly dude with chains, similar setting and events (tournaments, exams and so on) but with more action. Saint Seiya left biggest impact on Yoshihiro Togashi's creations.
