| Some of that episode was from the 2005 Jump Festa special which I watched last night after watching first two, glad I didn't skip after seeing some was the same as the rest was different. That was pretty funny, Gin and his hard head! lol. I liked the weird story and the store bit again with the parfait, they make me laugh lol. Flying Viking ship show girl place lol. More mentions to Bleach (which I finished last Thursday), now he wishes he had Getsuga Tensho lol! I would've loved to have seen a crossover with the two shows, Gin reminds me a bit of Ichigo, especially with the wanting to help people and humour. Plus both are hot <3 |

| Just starting this series. A friend of mind recommend it to me. I am not to crazy bout episodic comedies, but will see. This episode was definitely better then the first 2 which imo was quite overwhelming and didn't do a great job of building the world and its characters but i guess considering this episode is legitimately chapter 1 of the manga, things should get better. |

| Pretty good episode. Made me care slightly more about glasses. I really liked all the stuff with the cops. Even though it's supposed to be funny. I will say though it's annoying how over the top the villains all are. So far they've all been like sniveling monsters with no redeeming value. I also kind of thought the "Don't think I'll go easy on you because this is prime time" was a bit much. Still this episode had a lot of funny moments. Especially the climax. I hope this show gets better but I'm certainly enjoying it. |

| This episode was seriously boring. The only reason that I am watching is because people say that it get's much better after like episode 25. Uhhh, it's gonna be a long ride. I hope I end up liking this show. 4/10 |
| While I thought the 1 hour special, as well as the Jump Festa were pretty mediocre, I actually really enjoyed this episode. This was a way better intro to the series than the in-media-res craziness they started with. I really don't get why people are shitting on this ep. I can kind of understand since the other episodes before this were placed really badly and this is a weird continuation of those, but if you just consider this episode 1 then I thought it was perfect. It introduced the setting and main characters the same way literally all shonen shows do. For an introduction to a series with over 350 episodes, it did everything it needed to do; and got me excited for things to come. |

| So far I'm not really feeling it with this anime. But I've heard that it gets better after a while, and it's not like it's super terrible. So I'll try to work my way through it, to see whether I end up liking it. The setting is okay I think, and there's nothing wrong with the characters. Or the overall quality of the animation or sound, or voice acting. But the jokes aren't landing for me. |

| RIP Gintoki's chocolate parfait, anyways, I had some pretty good laughs out of this episode and I also hear that thiis series gets much much better the more you watch it, so I'm definitely excited to see what's next! |

| A pretty good start. I'm already in love with all the characters. Espically, our maincharacter, Gintoki. I love his sense of humor. He is way too hilarious and his actions make me laugh the fuck out of myself. Shin will be working with him now. The OST sounds very lively. OP is good, ED is a bit better. Animation for 2006 is pretty good. I won't be making threads under all the episodes, only the important ones. Too lazy to do it for 200 eps.. |

| Pretty average introduction episode. So after the first two people said that it gets better starting with episode 3. Now after episode 3 people say it gets better after like 25 episodes or something. I hope at some point it will really start to get as good as people say. |

And whey become stuck in a dustbin that rolls into the way of a running train... "not even in a manga there are such contrived coincidences!" Didn't remember the author making monologues this early "CHANGE YOUR DAMN HAISTYLE!" And finally, Kagura is hired at Yorozuya with the "beautiful" power of threatening people with violence. Because she's her, for once, it can be justified. |
