| I loved this, it was a sweet little Christmas special. As a stand alone entity not at all related to season one or two it did a great job doing what it did: tying all the main characters together in one story as a simple Christmas special. Since Christmas in Japan is considered a romantic holiday (like Valentines Day in the US) what better way to show Christmas than with the characters of a romantic comedy? All though the plot was weak and thin the animation was so much better than the animation in the series. This episode is kind of like what the BBC shows do for Christmas in England, they'll have a special episode completely removed from the normal series just to celebrate the holiday. (If you've ever heard Doctor Who utter those famous words "Christmas trees, they kill!" you know what I mean.) |

Actually if anything it's gotta be a prelude to season one if you think about it. Somebody at [insert producer name] must have sucked at knowledge and ended up putting "prelude to season 2" in the description. Edit: tbh, this post sucks in its own way as well. And I didn't think this episode was that bad, I mean it was kinda lame, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it a gaysuck, It just didn't float my boat... Thought I should clear that all up before anything bad happens to me. |

| Well this was really nice, I wasn’t expecting it to take place before the first season but it was cool to revisit the time when Kaoru was living alone and hadn’t reunited with Aoi yet, and Aoi appeared as Santa instead lol. I liked the little cameos of the other main characters throughout the episode too, the only one Kaoru knew at this point was Tina, his harem had yet to become a thing lol. And I really loved that dream bit where Kaoru got to see his mom again, that was pretty touching knowing what happened in the main show. But man, I really enjoyed this special episode but it’s a shame there’s no more to watch, it was nice to come back to this series one last time before i inevitably rewatch it in the future. |
