| I loved the symbolism (aka Gintoki's narration) that was shown when it comes to the fan clubs. Honestly, I don't really mind at all about the Otsu arc, but I can see why people are disliking it so far. |

| Not a huge fan of the Otsu episodes unfortunately. Although Toshi's return was pretty great and his laugh cracks me up. I liked Gin's narration as well for the battle of the Otakus. |

| i was late commenting episode for episode but i wrote notes beforehand as i was watching and i can tell... it's my favorite long arc for now. Returning to just the 157th one... Of course this was interesting since the beginning, even if for some reason the return of Tosshi wouldn't have been involved. I genuinely liked those typical conversation about acoustic instead of electric versions of songs in concert, also because i know what it means in real life, and even if it was for tunes way more dignified than... "Your grandpa rides the bike standing too high"? Really? I liked the flashbacks of the fan club on the beach rehearsing "Your mother is a XXX" And so the demonic vice-commander otaku Hijikata stole fans to the demonic leader Shinpachi That double meta moment with the manga... damn. |

| Well seems like otaku Hijikata is back and I don't know if I like it because at the end of the Shinsengumi Crisis arc, I felt like Hijikata managed to break the curse so this makes no sense. But I don't hate it, so I'm looking forward to the next episode. |
