| This episode was amazing and it was great to see that bastard Funai get what he deserved. As for Funai being worried. He is probably still in shock that Kaiji totally destroyed his plan, also, he was probably planning on selling his excess stars for a ton of money during the star selling period. That is why losing 5 stars will really screw him over. |

He has no choice but to play Kaiji, whatever the stakes Kaiji decides on, and Kaiji already has a fair guess at what his card is. The game is entirely out of his hands. Epic defeat. |

| Seeing Kaiji get back at Funai and then challenge him at the end of the episode is truly one of the most satisfying things to happen in anime this year. This show is really intense. |

Funai's reaction to having his stars knocked off in the last episode make this pretty unlikely. Remember that Kaiji and many other players got punked by Funai's cheat skills. The fundamental reason why Funai didn't just go through with the push strategy when he first punked Kaiji is a clear indication that "beneficial to both parties" isn't gonna fly for him. Also, when you lose the game, you don't go deeper into debt- you go to the "other room", where you suffer something on the order of being forced into male prostitution. |

| I like the way Kaiji call to Funai to play I hope he owned him! |
| One of his points is that it was suspicious of Funai to count the cards when they don't have enough time and then he goes on and babbles for half an episode about it... I guess time is indeed relative. At least they made the resuffle seem logical by making it so everyone would take the number of cards he initialy had and not more. |
| The problem is Mr. X. Because he holds 3 cards, the number of cards left are odd and impossible to elimitane by greating draws. |

| They shouldve challenged Funai 6 stars to begin with (one star for each person in the redeal scam)... Funai has to get rid of his last card, but no one will play with him except Kaiji who will win with paper. Funai will surely lose, but will still have 3 stars and it would be the only way to get rid of his last card. unless Funai turns out to be "Mr. X" with the 3 missing scissors (a highly likely plot twist). then theyre screwed again. |

I can't even begin to understand how stupid you would have to be to agree to his proposition when you see 8 stars on his chest. He's obviously a shark going for more bloody meat. Why would you hang yourself as bait... |
| Eh, Funai deserved way more. But let's see if it's payback time next episode. The problem is that there is still a that Mr. X. If that guy decide to show up, Kaiji plan is all over. Buuuuuut, we know that this isn't end of Kaiji journey, so he'll find a way. All in all, this is pretty exciting. |

| Just when Funai had it all in the bag, his ego overinflated and rip a big hole in it, letting Kaiji full counter his shuffling scam. Four Eyes' luck sucks big time lmao. What makes me nervous is that Funai redirecting Mr.X's identity to the ones who will buy the stars instead might be a ploy, with him hiding the other 3 scissor cards in his pocket to bring out later. This really was an intense episode, with Funai forced to do it all or nothing since he has cards and no one wants to play anymore. It'll only get even more intense as the Janken Arc reaches its climax. |
