Great hentai, but shitty ending. When you make a dark hentai like this you shouldn't pussy out at the end, go all the way and make it a total bad end. If I wanted vanilla id watch vanilla. I was rooting for Dirk.

Well I am disappointed with the ending.This one deserved bad ending.Why?Because Princess eventually loses any sanity left in her and even wants anybody to play with her from the second episode.Even after so much debauchery she is not satisfied till the end.Everything was consensual with her and EVEN NO APHRODISIAC WAS USED ON HER.Everybody got their bad endings and princess should had also got her bad ending like becoming a total slut in the end just like her mother.There was nothing left in the kingdom to be saved anyway.Every single male had fucked her.How would she had shown her face to her kingdom again?But still instead of going with the bad ending(which is pretty much the case with similar titles) they chose good ending which clearly didn't make any sense in my opinion.
On the contrary Witch of Steel: Annerose deserved a happy ending where nothing was consensual without aphrodisiac.

Even after rewatching this several times, I still couldn't understand what happened to Dirk. The transition from the town-wide orgy to the scene with the Demon King was so abrupt I'm at a lost. That happy finale came out of nowhere, seriously.

Yeah that jarring cut into the empty kingdom and the forced hopeful ending left me confused as well as dissatisfied to a degree just like what I felt after watching the noir Gilda or even for this subject Armored Knight Iris (what were the chances those unarmed 2 are going to successful escape alive even if the Calvery is coming).

I would prefer something more concrete & that doesn't resort to pulling a deu ex machina out of nowhere that allows the main character to escape with surprising little to no opposition. If it is to be a optimistic ending then the final episode should be overall climacticly organized & have a balanced pace rather then nearly all of the episode being bad for thy but have the last few short scenes be about how she will turn everything around.

Just because it is of its genre doesn't mean that objectively bad endings will not sour the enjoyment when you rewatch it to an extent. Was it for the people both creators & viewers to figatively wash their hands to an extent of this show by giving the girl a contrived happy ending so they arent assumed as heartlessly cruel individuals that won't let her ever escape captivity. Focusing on movies with losing endings or playing games where the good guys fails to win the conflict doesn't mean that I am pessimistic/nihilistic in the faith of humanity and that all of the fictional characters that I come across must suffer with no happy endings.

Is the kingdom now just forever left abandoned until she returns to overthrow him, the queen seems beyond saving, did all of the guards & his forces leave as well, doesn't she still have her choking collar on, is that city even worth saving besides whatever is there or honor, Unless that sword will notably assist would that enemy kingdom even consider your legitimacy as you only offer 4 other knights to that kingdom which will pretty much be dealing with the demons itself, and if they would even survive taking on that freight train long army of demons

I know what it is but my suspension of disbelief can go only so far. I did get into how he was going just as insane & ended up self destroying the kingdom so that like nobody will enjoy it there now. Some things just need to end badly or you'll get such tonal whiplash.
