| Yeah, Tumbling dice was pretty awesome. Wish they'd use some more old tracks. :\ I hope this match finishes in one episode. Not going to be able to take waiting multiple weeks. Also, Date is king. |

| Tumbling Dice actually got me going for this fight, I say inner light would have better though. This is going to be something beyond epic, if things keep going like this imagine when ippo gets his shot...I will die in anticipation for that |

| Man, I love this series, The fight should only last an and episode and a half, due to the fact he is not the maiin character, I have a tenacy not to be a big fan of cliffhangers if the series has one episode on a weekly bais, but atleast it is exucuted very well eh.. |

| I wanna say the old man has a chance. The hype and atmosphere for this fight was intense. The anime did a great job building this up. And I would hardly call that opening punch a cliffhanger. What'd you expect Ricardo's head to do when Date punched it? Explode? It merely means we're getting underway.  |

| Damn, what a start to this match. I got a feeling this fight is going to be one of the most brutal yet. |

| And so...it begins. Just a little thing I feel compelled to mention, it looks like they're having this fight at the Kokugikan. I recognised it at first because the Ryogoku station sign was shown in the episode, the showed the roof thing above the ring and the box seats. I was there on the 23rd of Jan 2014 to watch Sumo. Pretty amusing coincidence that I would watch this episode a couple hours after I get back from watching it. |
| I like Date a lot more this time around, he seems more defined now and looks humble as hell. His entrance when he opened the doors on his way to the ring (when Ippo went to see him) was bad ass and also was accompanied with intense, awesome music. He seems really confident, I hope that isn't his downfall. |

| not so much of cliffhanger there. the OST theme of op3 of previous series was here made me realize what i so liked about first series OST and hate this series OST lol. i actually have bad feeling about date here. "the scar isn't itching anymore", what is it? harry potter? lol |
