If it remains as well written as it is right now, I don't see any problem raising my rating to 10 at the end. Oh and the script is so intricate you have the impression to watch 2 episodes each week, there are just more developments and dialogues than in virtually all the other animes released lately. |

| Well, this was another really well written, well directed episode. Visually, I liked the spacial emptiness of this episode. Ami is by far my favorite character in this show. She hits the nail on the head of my thoughts every time she is onscreen. Pointing out the strange father-mother-daughter relationship of Ryuuji, Minorin, and Taiga was excellent, and we saw her realize a little bit that he has feelings for Taiga, which clearly broke her spirit quite a bit, unlike when she saw his feelings for Minorin. Great metaphor with the star. If only other shows could handle figurative language in such a well crafted, non-obtrusive way. Also just want to put the spotlight on Taiga's daddy issues, misplacing them onto Santa Claus is really, really, really, really creepy. |
| I think i've said this many times before, but this show has gotten REALLY good. Started off as a nice, simple romantic comedy, and it has grown to have some of the best character development i've ever seen. My heart broke when Taiga's star shattered, and seeing Minori's smile just fade away. That was some GREAT symbolism, and probably major foreshadowing. gyaah, can't wait for the next episode |
| Key phrase of the episode: Minorin to Taiga after crashing the star: "...I lost control of the ball and it broke something very important to you..." While Kushieda is a pure airhead, she can and does understand people feelings as well as Ami. In other words: While Minorin has a growing feeling for Ryuuji, she clearly sees there's no Taiga-to-Kitamura ending as well as there's a deep connection between Taiga and Ryuuji. Personally, I find Minorin being a very strong character. Not that she dreams of Taiga.. but she definitely treasures her best friend a lot and has a courage to prevent "breaking something very important to" Taiga. This is so rarely seen in real life. Shame on me but I don't even expect myself behaving this way. The most funny thing is that in contrast to many posters here I'd truly disliked Minorin for the most of the show. And now, when I finally see lots of people going depressed and somewhat disappointed about Minorin, I feel like cheering her up instead ^^ Ryuuji's definitely not the type of guy suitable for her but I wish Minori end up with a great guy who will understand her feelings far WAY better. |

| Yeah, it would've been perfect for Minorin to say I love you at that place, but the series would've climaxed too early; I rather doubt it'll climax before ep22. This show suffers from lack of developement of the main character. Ryuuji the blockhead is still going for the Minorin he has dreamt of, but is that the real Minorin? If only Toradora had a visual novel, my life would've been complete. |
| Ah, Minorin <3. I really wanna know why she's feeling so down recently. I could also almost feel the pain when that star broke. Minorin walking in next was worse though I think. Overall a great episode, hope the next episode will deliver some answers. |

| I loved this episode. Really, really great episode, IMO. I also started to like Ami more from this episode, and fhdlhafkljsdhf MINORRIIINNN. ;___; I thought she was going to confess to Ryuuji when she kept saying his name and I was ready to cry, but alas no~ Am really looking forward to the next ep, to see what's going to happen with Ryuuji and Minori. |

It started off as a good romantic comedy, and now there's better character development than ever. We're seeing a lot more to every character. The thing I love about this series (not a fanboy. Also am female) is that the characters are well developed and... realistic. Minori's not some random airheaded character, and Taiga isn't just a generic tsundere-blob. |

| omg ><, part where baseball went through and smashed it was intense, for awhile I didn't make the connection and wasn't sure what had just happened, then when I worked it out I was like ... O_O, but Minorin seemed better this episode, more likable so to speak. Will be interesting to see where it goes from here. |

| Along with almost everyone my heart broke with the star. I'm starting to have mixed feelings about this show now, in some ways it's getting better and in others it's getting worse, I'll still stick with it to the end. |

| Wow, I was really digging that episode until the star broke. After that it was kind of not so much fun, but they still pulled things together nicely at the end to deliver another great episode. Poor Minori though.. as if things weren't bad enough for her, she goes and ends up being behind knocking down the tree and breaking the star. Still though, the star got mended in the end. Hopefully we can say the same of Minori in the next few episodes or so. I really miss the happy go lucky Minori. And, of course, have to mention about Taiga being cute once again in this episode with all her Christmas gifts, and even labeling one of the gifts 'Santa' for the orphans. She really does have a heart buried underneath that tough front she puts on. :) |

| Oh God, what an amazing episode. I smiled and my eyes were full of tears when characters turned the tree's lights on. I shocked and my mouth stayed open for a while when Minorin's ball broke the star and make the tree fell down. |

| "Damn you Toradora for making me wanna give ratings way beyond 10!! " hehe that was funny. I have a feeling Minorin's weirdness will be done and resolved by next episode. Then the drama can shift to the final conclusion. I'm still leaning more towards Ryuuji/Taiga - I just wish there was a way for it to happen without Minorin getting hurt. I love her so much. I'm finally starting to come around to liking Ami, but only cause I'm sure she's not a fake anymore, but I still think she and Ryuuji would make a terrible couple. BFF!! lol. I think I just need to see a closer Ryuuji/Taiga like before. They've seemed distant in the past few episodes, probably because they have so many other friends now. Before, it was just them, so they seemed closer. I'm so sad only 7 episodes left. Is there any possibility for a second season? probably not. It's the same with Kimikiss. I set myself up, hoping for a second season so bad and then I got burned. lol. *Sigh. |

| Poor Minorin...I mean I know she knocked over the Christmas tree but there's no way it was on purpose, and it's just more guilt she'll have to bear now...I hope she doesn't buckle under the pressure. Minorin's been such an upbeat character up until recently, always brightening up everyone's day. It sucks cause despite all the fun everyone's having, one person still isn't happy. Hopefully that'll change though. |

Minorin is trying to keep her distance because she's afraid she'll confess and mess things up for Taiga and Ryuuji if Kitamura doesn't accept Taiga. Ami's words foreshadow a possible future that could happen if Ryuuji doesn't step forward and make his feelings enough to someone. If he stays as he is he's going to end up as nothing more then a friend, or in ami's words a "father/brother" figure. PS. no relationship change this week. All predictions from last week where correct. |

I saw a spoiler pic at an fan club I'm part of and then it disappeared and I was so stupid I never asked where it was from, meaning which of the new episodes because it's definitely not in the eps we've already seen. | Good episode. I saw it coming the moment Taiga took out the star that it would break, but I didn't think it would happen less than 2 minutes later. xD I don't like dramatic Minorin. I want her to go back to her comedic self. |
| everything in this ep was bad omens and foreshadows doom. everything is messed up between everyone. i'm starting to dislike taiga for being so insensitive. she's all happy with her holiday and her kitamura, acting not at all like the taiga i fell in love with at the start of the series. while her best friend is suffering, and she's still taking advantage of ryuuji with thinking about his feeling at all. she's so oblivious. and why is ryuuji so devoted without wanting anything in return? he's like a slave pervert or something taht enjoys the harassment. and taiga forgets him as soon as kitamura is nice to her, and only half assed trys to "set up" minorin for self justification. she doesn't care at all. and the fact that ryuuji doesn't show any unease after what ami said is even sicker. it's so creepy how he really acts like a dog licking taiga's heels. i hope someone or something or someevent gives taiga a wake up call the next ep and she cares for the ppl around her a litle. |

| Ryuuji's dense as a rock. Ami should have raped him in the storage room to get her point across. Never really thought of Minorin as funny but she's just as pathetic in her emo state. I wish she'd just jump off the rooftop to get it done and over with. In the next episode, I bet we'll find out the true reason why she's messing up in baseball: the slits on her wrist make it hard to catch and throw the ball. |
