| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So glad this didn't end in tragedy!!! What a ... Well I guess you could say happy ending, it wasn't over the top and didn't give you too much insight (in to what I would have liked to know, which was what happened to Sarasa and Shuri at the end) but it definitely had a warm ending ... The only bit I wish would have been covered was what exactly happened to Japan, like who was in charge, what exactly happened to the government or w/e ... Anyways a pretty good manga, the last bit seemed to slow down and kind of drag on a tad (since a thousand things weren't happening every chapter) but overall it was definitely worth the read. I would say it isn't as good as Red River but it is definitely leaps and bounds better than the other long Shoujo/Adventure I read, Fushigi Yuugi. |

| I spent the first week of my summer break re-reading this manga. When I first read this manga, I binge-read the entire thing in 2 days; its no surprise that I missed out on a lot of the charm of this manga the first time through. I hadn't realized how awesome characters like Kikune, Sakaki, and Kagero. About 2/3 into the manga, I started asking myself why I gave this manga a 9/10. By the prison arc, the manga was beginning to grow really stale and I was forcing myself to read it. But the ending. I don't think I've ever encountered a manga this long that culminated in such a perfect ending. I won't be reading this manga again anytime soon. It was such a draining journey, but it was well worth it. |

| I guess this is the ending of the main story and the rest is on side characters. I love how this concluded, I thought the manga was decent enough through the first half or so, a 7/10 easy but after Sasara and Shuri's identities were revealed to each other Basara really went up several levels of quality for me, marathoned my way through the rest, easy 10/10 content. |
