| I think I like Masumi. He's very flamboyant and overdramatic haha Chiaki sure is good-looking, but his personality could be better ;P But musicians are usually anal like that anyways lulz. Most well-renown conductors I've seen are serious and perfectionists, so at least it's an accurate representation of them :P I used to play violin and boy, oh boy. Rehearsals near the date of performance were a bitch x3 |

| Masumi's personality is pretty annoying, plus how can you bully my poor Nodame?! But their interactions were pretty funny, so it wasn't that bad, I guess. |

It's a comedy, it will always contain stereotype and in this context, it was overly exaggerated. If you are homosexual and are offended by this character, it might be because you have a complex. We all know that harrassing is bad, but in that context, even if in real life, everyone would be mad, Nodame naivety make it just cute. No, you don't get to decide that. People have the right to be offended about stereotypical representation of minorities ("Masumi Okuyama"). Honey and Clover had the same thing with "Mario and Luigi". Queer characters being the butt of the joke is not funny, it's just bad comedy. I honestly don't get why people like this show so much. The "comedy" is really hit-or-miss and the characters are either annoying or one-dimensional stereotypes. It would have been better if it focused more on its strengths (the music and drama aspects). |

| Looks like the anime tried to portray harassment as a joke but it wasn't funny for the most part. More side characters? Ok, they are going to form an orchestra with more side characters if my correct. |

| This was a pretty cute episode, I love seeing Nodame's character grow and develop it's not common for me to see such a female character that doesn't feel like it's written by a dude. |
