better make this an OVA that will define a real end. Or else I might just lower my score on this show 1 more due to dissatisfaction.

It's not like you can give out an ending if the manga isn't over yet.

Awesome! Love the manga and the anime, bought and ordered both. Disc 2 on its way from Osaka now and volume 11 of the manga is preordered too, coming January 11. Will get volume 12 with the OVA for sure!

I rather ask for this on the OVA rather than leaving us of no note for a sequel or the like.

There is no real end, nothing will get resolved as of now. The manga is still ongoing and there's enough material for a 2nd season already but I want them to release more chapters and have a abundant number of chapters that a 3rd season is possible after the 2nd season happens.

Settling for an anime original ending is like eating imitation meat. You think you're satisfied, but you're not.

An OVA? All I can say is: SHI YUU AGAEE!

Oh my word. The huge expectation in this post is physically hurting me.

Its either
Ova with a original ending or no ending/"Go read the manga" ending.

Japan shits on Shoujo adaptations.

...How long have I been waiting for S2 of Skip Beat, a manga that is more popular than this and whose anime sold more than this.

Not always. A good example of a recent anime that had a GREAT anime original ending was Tasogare Otome x Amnesia

While I love, Love, LOVED the original anime ending of Tasogare Otome X Amnesia episode 12, I also loved the BD only special episode 13! I would love a second season of it or more OVAs as I love the characters. I love the manga too and don't mind the divergence between the two. That manga feels like it might be running out of steam though I hope not.

The Tonari no Kaibutsukun manga is great too though completely different from Tasogare Otome; it is very close to the Tonari no Kaibutsukun anime. They have at least a season or two worth of shows worth if original material they could turn into anime right now if they wanted to, if they had a reason to. I am hoping for a Christmas week miracle on disc 2... otherwise more OVAs is about all I can hope for though really I am happy just to continue reading the manga. Robico is quite fun to read.

Still hoping for a season 2, because an OVA ending wont cut it. At least I don't think so, there is still that character that was introduced in the last 2 episodes, and theres a good deal of conflicts to settle.

I wasn't even going to reply to your first comment, but saying that Amnesia had a great ending hurt my eyes after reading. You think it's great because you haven't read the manga, and even if I didn't, I would still think the ending was shit.
Plus, yes, I "heard" of original endings and I don't like them. Better leave the anime with shitty endings and chances of having a second season even if it doesn't. I'm sorry if your expectations of Skip Beat weren't fulfilled, but that doesn't give you the right to destroy other peoples expectations.

Volume 9 came out in March, 10 in August, 11 is coming in January. 5 month cycle means volume 11 should out in be June. Not that far away really and it makes sense since volume 7 of the Tonari no Kaibutsukun BD comes out on May 22nd so the OVA won't come out before the last BD which occasionally happens and seems a bit odd to me.
